Eclipse - SkinBot

Yes you can. There are multiple modes, "Learning", "Skinning", "Kill These", and "Questing".
Im changing the name to "Multibot". Anyway, set it to "Kill These" mode, click teh choose mobs button, on the screen that pops up search the area for the mobs you want to kill and add them to the kill list. Then it will farm all day long In that area.
If there is more than one group of those kinds of mobs then you can fly around and click them all in learning mode. Youll see "Adding mob YYYY at hotspot x,x,x" and your good to go. Just click start and your done. =P

 

Thats for the fast response so if i so happen to die will it resurrect and return to the same grinding area?

Yes it will find your corpse and resurrect. And depending on the CC your using will heal up and then continue the grind.

 

any idea what's going on for me? i just did a fresh HB install, uninstalled and re-installed .net 4.5.
the botbase can't seem to find or use the eclipsewowdb.edb file (even when i type in the exact path), i tried rearranging folders so it'd be where the bot expected, but no dice there either)
the skinbot has issues adding mobs to the list, and even once they are there won't kill them (it ran to one mob one time i tried), upon reload of HB i get the same error's i previously posted.

also, when i try to use the "kill these" part, it opens up the questing interface instead of a window like the skinbot one

 

Try another path... Your Documents Folder or desktop are not meant to be used for this ... Try Something like C:\tests\someweirdnameforurbotfolder

I don't think the issue was it being in the documents folder (HB's default location) but i had messed up the directory path going to the DB, it seems to work fine now (although i have to manually reload the DB everytime i start it)

the killbot "choose mobs" button still brings up a questing window though.

I noticed this last night. I fixed it for the next release. I am trying to resolve the tagged mob problem once and for all then I will have the next release out.

Also if it cant find the db file it will create a new one - however if it does most of the data it needs isn't there. If you see a 0kb file in the root, delete it.

Easy fix! Delete the 0kb "EclipseWoWDB.edb" file from your ROOT honor buddy folder.
Remember to START honor buddy before trying to use the included tools in the botbase. The botbase depends on the honorbuddy variables being set which only happens while its running. If you try to make changes without HB running it will create that file (which I am about to delete that functionality).

 

short question, in the newest version, is the "choose mobs" button of the kill theese feature fautly linked to the questing mode settings dialog box?

just copy the db file from [HB-DIR]\Bots\SkinBot\Data\EclipseWoWDB.edb to [hb-dir]\EclipseWoWDB.edb
this solved it for me.

When kill a mob, dosn't loot and skin; stay on dead mobs

Did you train it? Kill/loot/skin something in learning mode?

Can you attach your log? I'm thinking i might release the next release early. I farmed a couple of hundred leather last night using it and I dont know why suddenly everyone is having problems.
