This solution worked for me. The file that was hot on Avast was GreyMagic.dll. Hope the information helps HB in finding the cause. I have faith HB didn't pack that in there on purpose..
I just emptied my trashcan before reading this... And.. how come the zip doesnt work ? (http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy)
Exactly, something is up -and currently we are unable to make a fresh installation as the website gives us no download.
i know i shuldnt disable to anti virus , i just wanted to know how to let avast give a green light to HB
The website and the bot is working perfectly. Disable your antivirus while downloading and add the HB folder to the exceptions.
Hi, Yes the antivirus was blocking the website (request) -and subsequently the GreyMagic.dll. But I've never had this issue before, and the previous version had installed just fine -I always use the ZIP -any clues from the developers as to why this is being Flagged by antivirus. Botting requires a certain degree of carefulness and cautiousness, and I'd rather not be overly anxious about having to add exceptions to my antivirus everytime HonorBuddy is updated. Though I don't want to derail the OP -which I presume is answered -I'd welcome any response on the matter. ~G
Just solved. *First: Turn off your AVAST anti-virus *Down HB (zip file) from this link: http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy *HB works well as earlier Thanks all
