Good Morning, First let me say that AutoAngler is really awesome. The only thing that I didn't really like was that it doesn't use the Draenor baits, which is a huge buff on performance if you are not pool fishing. I extended the Angler to do so and want to share that hack with you now. It is not very sophisticated or configurable. It just uses any bait it finds in your bag and applies the buff. The zip contains the files I modified. Cheers, McWow AutoBait.zip: Version 1, picks the first available Bait from bags AutoBait02.zip Version2, same as version 1, but randomly rotates Baits from bags BTW, if you want a bait to be not used: put it in your bank. The baits are unique and having one in the bank will prevent getting a new one.
At first, in Shadowmoon Valley, it used the Fire Ammonite bait before I forced it to use Blind Lake Sturgeon bait. Then it just used Blind Lake Sturgeon bait from then on. Thanks!
This is really great, glad someone finally got around to making a working bait profile. Only thing we need to add now is an option to randomize the bait it uses. Right now it just uses the first one in your bag. For those of us who do our fishing mostly in our garrisons, it would be nice to be able to get an equal amount of all fish instead of all of only 1 type.
Or maybe it is random already, just watching it now and it used a bait at the bottom of my bag. Can anybody confirm the method it uses to pick the bait?
No, this use the first bait on your bags in the following order: Fire Ammonite Bait Blind Lake Sturgeon Bait Sea Scorpion Bait Jawless Skulker Bait Abyssal Gulper Eel Bait Fat Sleeper Bait Blackwater Whiptail Bait Icespine Stinger Bait Moonshell Claw Bait Im working on a better fix right now, and can share later if your guys are interested.
It'd be great if you could add something to /use Lunarfall Carp any time you have one in your bags and it's not on cooldown
Really Nice Addition to an already great Bot. does need some Configuration ability (e.g I dont want to catch a million Fire Ammonites forever) Maybe just Give us a way of altering the order in which the program arranged the "preference" of bait?
Is there a way to have it rotate through each bait? Like, use one of each bait before going back to the first one?
Hello, I did some modifications on the bot for myself. Basically: - Put Worm Supreme on the lure list. - Corrected a bug on the auto-hat equip list. Was auto-equiping the wrong hat and was not listing the new WoD hat. - Now when fishing in Draenor uses the new baits (and dont try to use them on other continents). - Rotates between the baits in a random manner. - Stack the +Fishing Lures with the WoD baits. Im still modifying some things like the preferences of wich baits to use and such, auto gutting the fishes for better inventory management and other things. Just copy the files into your AutoAngler folder in the /Bots folder; overwrite existing. I already made an update to the Baits routine that randomly rotates the Bait used between the available ones. Just running a last long time test and will supply the update in an hour or two.
Could you please modify it to use Worm bait as priority and if it's not available use Nat's Hat lure ? Thank you!
Any way to turn off some of them? I know putting them in the bank helps but when you are at your garrison you dont always have a bank.
