Hey there, is there any way i can use a "tank mode" when having the Gladiator talent enabled? I can not for the life of me make my HB switch into Def Stance (using Lazy Raider). :/
Disable Battle/Gladiator Stance, Set Defensive Stance HP below 100 will make your Warrior go to Defensive Stance, it will start using Tanking auto target and logic, generate more rage and keep aggro on everything
Hey Tuanha. I've purchased your $89 CR package and I'm very pleased with it. I primarily use it for my prot warrior. But there's one thing that I find slightly annoying, and it's prolly because I haven't set the settings right. When I'm tanking I want the bot to let me decide which target to focus on, but still rotate around to the other trash mobs/adds atomatically to keep the aggro on all engaged mobs. For example in Auchindoun the first trash pack consist of a soulbinder, a cleric, a spirit-tender and a couple of defenders (something like that), now I want to take out the soulbinder first but the bot insists on focusing my dps on the defenders - as a result of that the rest of my pug party usually targets the same target I'm dps'ing on, leaving the soulbinder free to mindcontrol us. How can I set it up, so that I myself decide the kill order and still keep things automated?
I tried that, but then I have to manually target every single target. I kinda like the feature that it just auto targets, I just don't like the bit where I'm not in charge of what mob to focus on. Tried to switch auto focus off as well, but it didn't really do anything for me.
That is the one of the main things that prevents me from using the bot. I found it very disrupting when trying to tank to have it constantly switch my targets, You cannot even effectively mark targets during a fight due to the constant switching. ( I found myself screaming at the routine to kill the damn healer first. lol) That is just one example of how not being able to target and use the routine on specific mobs really hurts you as a tank. I am using fury 2 at the moment, and hoping this gets modified a bit. In fairness I haven't given this routine the full test yet. I plan on adjusting some settings, removing the auto targeting, and auto movement. When I initially used it, I found that it did not use several abilities which were key to my protection spec. Fury 2 did and put out much more damage with better agro control. There is a lot of potential in this bot and I hope most of my issues are user error or being further developed. I really cannot wait to try it again and possible purchase the full version, assuming of course a full version becomes available without having to buy every other routine. I only have 1 character and really only want one character. No need for every routine.
Hi, for dedicate tanking, I suggest use hotkey feature to switch between Auto Target on/Off For example I use Alt-1 for TuanHA Warrior Protection PvE Auto Taunt , Target and Move.xml and Alt-2 for TuanHA Warrior Protection PvE Manual Taunt , Target and Move.xml (setting available in User Settings Folder) So whenever I feel like lazy tanking, I just load Alt-1 Preset, and if I really want to tank, kill a specific mob, load Alt-2 Preset.
Haha I can totally relate to the marking difficulties and the screaming. Is fury any good at tanking? Thinking of easing into disabling auto target and movement as well, unless Tuanha can come up with a solution to my question. Actually I might do that anyway.
Ohh cool, yeah that should do the trick. Thanks for the reply. Just another thing now that I have you here. I've been looking around but haven't been able to find an answer anywhere. Does your CR support active mitigation fights?
Thanks for that. I look forward to testing it out more fully. Any plans on releasing the Premium version of warrior by itself for $15 like many of the other routines on your site? I can't do $89 and I don't need the other routines.
Hey, TuanHA! Will you add Softlock support with Enyo on your CR? Currently hardlock is decreasing fps
I just finished 7 days of fury 2 and this one is much, much, much better. For one thing it has the option of auto-moving, auto-facing, and auto-targeting which is lacking in fury2. It also has the option to setup intervene. It also has many other configurable options missing in fury2. Overall, it is a better routine. I did a bit of setting changes and I am liking it much more than fury. Not to mention fury only works in pve where this profile works in pvp and pve as well works in grinding/gathering mode.
Thanks for the reply. I don't use auto target as it mostly isn't a good thing in PvE/raids, but how is the number output compared with the 2 routines?
I disabled auto-target because it screws me over as a tank. As far as dps goes, Tuanhas outperforms Fury as long as you set it to use the burst abilities on cooldown, otherwise Fury does more damage. I only play as a tank and I disable auto-target, then set my burst to abilities to on cooldown. DPS is great, I can switch between targets, and survival seems fine. My only complaints are that the bot doesn't seem to be using healthstones in pve and it yolo charges whenever in range of a targeted mob. The yolo charge is easy to work around so no worries there. The non-use of the healthstone in pve is a bit of a downer, but no biggy.
I purchased the package and im disappointed to be honest I also have FU2 and that pumps out better numbers by about 3k. I find this is pooling so much rage and often capped. Maybe I have a setting wrong but I've tried all the preset ones and also customised for Gladiator and still no luck. Any help on settings for glad?
Tuanha makes great combat routines. I've used most of them since the beginning and have never been disappointed. I'm guessing that most of the CR's need some tweaking now since WoD release so give him some time to fix it and you will change your mind.
Ive also used them for a while, I think the price of it in my mind would have been a spot on product.
I mostly just do heroic dungeons and I do it in defensive stance as protection. My numbers were a bit lower than fu2 using the preset options, but after changing burst setting from boss/player to on cooldown, my dps is much higher than fu2, and higher than most dps in my group. I'm not sure about gladiator stance. I have it disabled at the moment because I like instant queues as a tank, but I may experiment later outside of the instance.
Testing a bit, FU2 uses Heroic Strike more often resulting in better use of rage and higher dps. Tuan's often pools rage too much too cap and lacks use of HS.
