What WoD Plugins would you like to see?

Hey there,

I have a friend who's a programmer and he wants to get into writing plugins.
Of course, he wants to make plugins that the community needs the most.

So he's wondering:

What Draenor Plugin do you want to see? What would be the most useful?

Please don't say timber, he's already looking into that.

He just doesn't want to work on a plugin for long only to find out it already exists or someone else is working on it too.

 

something to do missions would be pretty hot

 

the go look in the requests forum ?

 

Missions, harvesting Mine/herbs, refilling work orders, rares/treasures or generally anything to assist with farming GR.

Bonus objectives while questing would also be nice

any of the above would improve my life

 

need some profile/plugin to pick ready orders/mine nodes/herb nodes in garrison. maybe even renew orders after. ty.

A mission or work order plugin should be fairly simple. We'll look into that.

Was working into it and we developed a botbase directed toward the whole garrison.
For now the mission are already fully implemented with a simple logic, more complex ones will be published soon.
The work orders are already half way there, and should arrive soon!

A plugin to set iron traps for the barn would be neat

A plugin that will collect all the treasures which have resources in it, I was doing it by hand and putting 3 maps together you get an average of 3000 resources, that is enough to upgrade almost all your buildings or the garrison to level 3.

thought about that one too, maybe you can set it up.

loot x yards away from current position (like mining in hb settings)
and then some checkboxes: just ressources / items / all something like that

 

For some of the treasure you can just walk to it and loot, however there are far too many treasure that needs tricks like for example the ones you have to use a glider to get to and so forth.

And to get that much you do need to loot literally everything within the 4 first maps gorg, smv, arak, talador.

 

A plugin like Brodies had in MoP that farmed/planted seeds at your Farm but this time for the Garrison.
This was one of the best plugins for the most tedious grinds in the game especially if you have 15 alts like myself.

Whoever makes a Garrison (Level 2/3) herb/mine plugin would get my vote and donation

 

This, so much this. The trap system for Barns is very very arduous.

I believe a profile for garrison ressources (gathering the treasures/rares) is something a lot of people would love to see.

I haven't seen any good profiles for farming the "new meat" (Raw Clefthoof Meat, Raw Talbuk Meat, Raw Elekk Meat, Raw Riverbeast Meat, Raw Boar Meat). They go for shitloads of gold on my servers at the moment, so maybe this would be a good thing and shouldn't be too difficult.

Grind-Profiles for the Apexis dailies (don't know if there are any good ones out there yet)

The later 2 you mentioned I already have covered.

Regardign garrison ressources, whether you get them from treasures or raremobs most of them require special interactions or parcours skills. so thats why it takes a lot of effort to program and I doubt it will be able to do all of them.
