theTramper: gather

I just bought this to farm Lumber. But I see that this is not possible yet :/ When are you gona release this? Please hurry.

 

i never claimed lumber farming to be an already supported feature, BUT i'm working on it.
i've decided to integrate lumber/timber farming into this plugin because i dotn want to force people to get Blackbeard Just because of one additional feature.
i released an update this night (2.0.2) which does preperations for timber farming already, however, this feature is not enabled and will be enabled in the next version (most likely within the next 2 days)

Question , I've been thinking in buying gather, but been wondering if I should wait for Blackbeard to be released.
Do you mind explaining what the main differences will be between them.
Also , do you have a price in mind for Blackbeard ? Maybe I'll just get both.

As far as my understanding goes, The Gather is a plugin that provides the means to gather herb and ore only because HB does not provide the ability to gather lumber natively. Blackbeard is a bot base that provides the ability to gather ore, herbs and timber as well as some other functions that Roboto has coded in to it.

My simplistic view of the differences between them both. I hope this answers your question.

 

you're basicly right, but, i'm working on support for timber farming in gather, i dont want to force people to buy another product for just one additional feature.

blackbeard will be a complete botbase, capable of farming herbs, ores, timber, skinning, garrison automations, vendoring, AH-ing (love that word) and so on.
herb/ore farming is not the main objective of blackbeard tho, however you're able to make it just do this or that.

 

Ok, so basically Blackbeard will do everything gather can do,+ some extras.

toon running back and forth a short distance

Hey Roboto, I finally got my farming alt to level 100 and tried out theTramper for the first time since WoD dropped. Shortly after starting it, on like maybe the 3rd or 4th node the toon got stuck running back and forth a short distance between two points. I tried stopping and then starting the bot but it did the same thing. Log attached.

First, a big thank you for including lumber/timber farming in theTramper plugin for those of us that already purchased it. Second, if Blackbeard ends up including other nice features aside from just lumber/timber support, would purchasers of theTramper have the option of upgrading at a reduced cost vs. buying outright?

 

I'm sorry to bother you this late roboto, i can see that you are busy these days.

My character just won't move while thetramper is on. I tried re installing my hb, but the same problem accrued.

And what is this new watch dog feature?

watchdog is
a) the preperational feature for timber farming
b) makes sure nodes are harvested and fixes potential bugs/stucks/issues within GB2 itself

Really nice Plugin Robo no doubt, but i noticed a funny behavior when the Bot reaching a Ore. He cancle the Druid Travel form , trys to Gather the Ore and quickly switching back to Travel Form > Fails to loot it, because he is Acting way too fast with the Ore.
Anybody else seen this , how to Avoid it??
