[PAID] GarrisonButler

Once the bot is done doing whatever he was set to, it would be nice if you could disable the movement and only enable it again after the time set has passed.

This way we can freely move the character around without having to disable the bot and once its time comes to do things again it would simple start the movements again and do its magic.

Something else to add to the wish list.

If over a configurable level, mail herbs and ores to other toons or put in to the guild bank. Allowing for a different toon for ores and herbs when mailing.

Anyone have any suggestions as to why itsnot moving at all for me? odd. it mounted. The log shows it loaded the dailies etc. It says "not at mine yet" and is just sitting there.

 

yea i dont know whats going on. it wont move on either of my characters. hangs up honorbuddy so i cant hit stop, if i do it says bot stopping but the stop button still stays as Stop instead of Start and I cant close it by hitting the X.

Both indicate it "should" be moving but it doesnt. Not using it in mixed mode just by itself. Already in my garrison. No idea whats going on but poo! I was excited. Back to the PB profile it seems.

 

To be honest, you probably don't need to worry about this wow addon. I would just put some information in the original posts about wow addon conflicts so it is easier to find and point people too. You will be making a lot of extra work for yourself to stay up to date with the wow addons compatibility.

I never use that part of the addon, so I just deleted it.

Posting a log would be more than useful to help me fix it.
Anyway, the next version will see a lot of changes in the source code fixing most of the current movement bugs...
But still, a log is the main thing we need as dev to fix bugs. Otherwise we are just blindfolded people looking for a needle in a haystack!

no i gotcha, i shoulda posted one. That being said - unless it says sometihng in the log it doesnt in the console as its running.. all it says is that it is attempting to move, but doesnt lol.

Im going to go ahead and redownload it, clear the cache as someone had mentioned above, and give it another stab. If nothing - ill post back with a log. Well ill post back either way

Yea, it does nothing. It will mount up and then it just sits there. Makes no sense that it works for everyone else /boggle. I use like.. 4 addons total, Bartender, Postal, DBM, and Molinsomethingoranother for milling by holding alt. Thats it. Botbase wise the only thing I have installed that isnt streamed is AutoAngler and this was tried with singular.

Thanks for the log! Seems there's either a problem with an addon, try to disable them all. The second option is the missions started/completed too fast, this one will be fix asap.

Concerning the donate button, there's one in my signature! But please really consider it as donation and not some kind of premium access...
I don't want to mislead people on this!
A donation should come from the hearth, otherwise I prefer that you to keep your money.

Even though this account is new, I was already around for a few years, the old autoit relogger or French translation of HB were Deams stamped for example. So I decided to give the community developer title a shot and apply for it.

The buddystore would make things so much easier to push an update to everybody! Would definitely divide by at least an order of 2 the time needed for a new build to propagate through the user base and so many other things.

I received a lot of request to not let GarrisonBuddy free in the future, I wasn't expecting that many in fact.
I didn't make my mind yet on this point since I'm more interested on perfecting the code than anything else and I don't think than most of the basic functions would be an IG economic problem if used by a wide audience. The most advanced features though are still uncertain due to versatility of Blizzard when adding new features.
But in case it happens I don't want anybody to feel trapped because they donated in the past. So really keep in mind that a donation is a support to the effort, and it does make me happy. ^^

What happens if you manually move the toon to the mine while GaB is running? If you collect a node?

 

What I got from this is that some users are afraid by this bot being used, that blizzard will start banning people quickly for its use. I have faith in deams that this bot will be as safe as it is useful. I could understand a profile or a botbase that isnt instanced people might want it paid access to reduce the number of people using it, but in this case volume doesn't hurt anything.

Keep up the great work! And ill try it without add-ons later, but I don't know why that would be the issue as I have 0 garrison addons. I think it was a speed issue as it sent out 7-8 missions within 10 seconds.

Performance issues: please red below
For those asking about the performance issue, please read the change log.
The current version is outputting a lot in certain situations (even if you don't see it in the HB window) to ensure I have enough data to pinpoint those nasty bugs keeping you from enjoying GarrisonBuddy features.
Once we arrive at a more stable build, the performance will be through the roof.
Even using the massive outputs, the current version in dev is not taking more than a few ms per ticks.

fwiw i tried once more with the zip file instead of the SVN. Logged in two characters, tried on both. Left for a half an hour, came back. (thought perhaps it just took an exceptionally long time to load).

Definately something causing me to stand still and do nothing but mount once initially where i stand.

follower missions work fine on my monk, but on a different server on my DK they just cause wow to crash. I tried with the same add ons disabled as alt server, im going to try later with no add ons enabled. Also, Will there be any future profiles on farming followers? or at least finding and interacting with the followers you can find in the world. Maybe even nat pagle?

You could certainly charge money for a profile that farmed all followers, and get some money for your time
mainly because having all followers is more of a vanity thing...

 

oh. perhaps i was the one that missed lol. Well i did move it to the mine. Nothing happened. I will move it to the mine AND collect a node and see what happens

I moved him to the cache. gathered. did nothing. moved him to the mine. Gathered. Did nothing. Its like its hanging my Honorbuddy at that specific point.

If i hit Stop, the button doesnt change to Start nor can I close honorbuddy without doing a Ctrl Alt Del. I am running a second toon with honorbuddy using PB and when i hit ctrl alt delete to close "yours" the working one is showing about .06% cpu useage whereas yours is showing 17.6% utlization.

I'm at a loss but i hope that helps. If their is anything else I can provide whether it be logs, data, screenshots, testing.... im available and will check back frequently - trust me lol.

Also worth mentioning that after i ctrl alt del the bad HB restarting it wont work due to "max sessions" so its like it keeps running, but not, after it hangs. (hopefully you understand what im trying to convey lol).

Anyways, look forward to figuring this out. Im perplexed and if their were EVER a computer that should NEVER have an issue (usually doesnt) mine would be it. Which adds to my confusion.
