Excuses for not raiding?

So like, Obviously most of us are shit and don't know the rotation of our classes, so we use HB to do this for us. With HB being down due to patch again, What will your excuse be for not raiding tonight?
What have been your previous excuses?
Will you actually try raid do damage and choke?

Edit: Sorry, Not knowing the rotation is not what I meant. Can't perform the rotation as well as HB can for optimal damage. So people will notice your DPS loss.

Either way this isn't about knowing rotations. I want to know what excuses you will use or have used to not raid, or not PvP or whatever.

Also why must I have to give people that I have no relationship with outside of wow a reason why I'm not playing a video game. Just tell them you won't make it tonight.

As a damage dealer class, my damage done is my pride. I don't depend on bots for raiding. If i play a healer class, maybe. Just because healing sucks.

 

Look into PE, because it's back on OC.

I would say something that makes sense :

"i'm stuck between 2 worlds, can't come tonight"

 

I'm using the excuse tonight for going to a family meal, raid is at 7, setting off for meal at 6, it's perfect.. for today. Sort of the same thing, Family instead of company with lots of beer.

 

I'm sure half your raid are also frantically trying to remember their own rotations as their Honorbuddy is down, not just yours!

That said, there's honestly not a good excuse because at least someone in your raid will also be botting and when/if you start spouting excuses when HB happens to be in maintenance you might as well broadcast on /guild that you are botting. In our guild we are pretty up front about those who bot their rotations (of course we do not discuss in game), and I feel for you if you don't raid with people that you can trust with such confidence.

If you do need to lame it up and give an excuse then this old chestnut usually works: blame the UI. Say you logged in, and all of your addons are disabled -on closer inspection (you guess) all your settings are defaulted; so you can attend but (as you'll be clicking or using default interface) your performance might be lower than norm. Bonus points for signing in late, or doing multiple relogs to simulate you trying to fix/recover addon settings. Otherwise you'll need to invent a Disney story if someone asks you to take your time and fix them -hence log in late and suggest they take you 'as is' or find a replacement (you shameful scrub!).

But yeah, hopefully you will take the time instead to learn your rotation -Proving Grounds can be quite useful -I surprised myself reach (Tanking) Endless Wave 33 by hand (xx+ -not saying which number exactly ofc! -with bot).

Trusting a guild with basically my account it alot to ask! I wish it was a tightknot bunch of friends, But in reality we're just people coming back after stopping in mop looking for a group of players to get stuff done with.
