For those updating profiles via SVN: I've uploaded initial versions of Rank 1 & 2 Ixal dailies for you to possibly take a look at. A few Notes: These profiles require user interaction, and editing of the profile. Change the "12" in the "/gs change 12" statement with the gear set number of your desired Hand In class. Code: <!-- Class you want to hand in with (the one you're levelling) --> <CodeChunk Name="HandInClass"> <![CDATA[ ff14bot.Managers.ChatManager.SendChat("/gs change 12"); ]]> </CodeChunk> Change the "7" in the "/gs change 7" statement with the gear set number of your desired combat class. Code: <!-- Class you'll be using for combat --> <CodeChunk Name="CombatClass"> <![CDATA[ ff14bot.Managers.ChatManager.SendChat("/gs change 7"); ]]> </CodeChunk> Change the "13" in the "/gs change 13" statement with the gear set number of your desired crafting class. Code: <!-- Class you'll be using for crafting (A level 50, make sure the set includes the Echatl Wristgloves) --> <CodeChunk Name="CraftClass"> <![CDATA[ ff14bot.Managers.ChatManager.SendChat("/gs change 13"); ]]> </CodeChunk> You can find out what number your Gear Set are by opening the Character Panel and opening the Gearsets List. The bot will stop, and pause whilst you craft required items, and gives you 5 seconds to exit craft mode before continuing. If you have multiple combat routines, it will ask you to choose one upon changing to your combat class, so running in borderless windowed mode is recommended. These are early versions, which may contain bugs, as I compile them after I've extracted all information into a notepad and the order of objectives is done via memory of my completing them. Any input from you would be greatly appreciated. Once I'm confident that they're working as intended, I'll release them properly. Thanks for helping.
I had been holding off on the ixal dailies completely since I didn't know if it was doable with this bot or not.... So, by user interaction, do you just mean editing? My understanding was they required crafting... I assume the bot doesn't actually craft, does it?
No, the bot just stops and waits whilst you craft the required items. It would be great if It could ofc, but I don't see it happening for a while. At least as they are, they're a little less tedious than before.
No worries. Just wanted to check before I tried it. Currently not interested in putting the time in lol. I'll keep running your sahagin and then go onto amaljaa
Just got to friendly. It accepts all of the quests and then gives me "bot thread ended"? EDIT: Nevermind! I ran the SVN update and it fixed. For some reason the above error happens only when I downloaded the .zip from your original post. So, heads up.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll re-upload a current version later. I've been meaning to do it since adding the Ixal dailies but just haven't had the time. Gives me an excuse to clean up my SVN folder . Whilst I'm here, does anyone know if the /echo command can be seen by other players?
on the Neutral profile: i know the rules about posting a log but before i thought about it i had already stopped/closed RB...buuuuuuuuuut i had the same problem just this morning (fresh download) and once i stopped and started the bot it actually proceeded to run into the wall (seemingly in the direction of the quest turn-in). since stopping and starting again seemed to create another problem at this point i restarted RB, and everything worked fine, finished the remaining quests and turned them in no problem. Ill watch more closely next time and be sure to post a log if i see any other issues *edit* here is the log anyways, i had done the brotherhood of ash dailies just before so the log is pretty long but as far as i can tell the problem starts somewhere around line # 1700
This was fixed a while back by an update. I've updated all the initial posts links to current version (as a lot of changes were made since posting) including the cleaned up SVN which contains all my profiles. I highly recommend utilising SVN, as I tend to tinker with profiles .
Same problem, deleted old folder and downloaded the new one. did an SVN update on the new folder (just for a sanity check). now after completing the first quest of the 3 Neutral that it grabbed (Violence of the Clams, Wind from Their Sails, A Crate-ful Response) it just stops and does nothing. I stopped and started the bot twice and it just sits. View attachment 9056 2014-12-20 20.26.txt
The Bots confused. This happens when stopping and restarting the bot whilst completing objectives. To fix, teleport to another zone then restart, if that doesn't do the Job, abandon the quests, teleport to another zone and restart. Your allowances will be refunded, don't worry. EDIT: I popped a profile onto SVN for the Starlight Celebration dailies. If folks could check this out that'd be great. (Make sure the initial questline is finished upto achievement "Smile-High" and you have the Starlight Tunic equipped.)
Went ahead and gave the starlite profile a try. I do believe I have everything unlocked (to the point where I got the dress thing and then did the first quest manually). But all I am doing is running into a wall...
Yeah, got the same on mine too, the bot isn't picking up that the UseTransport is done, so is running back to it on the wrong map. I'll be removing the teleports and aethernet uses later, so that we just zone in and start the bot.
