Actual account I came home from work in the evening so my account was offline all day and then i logged in hopped on one of my characters played a bg or two, then hopped on another character and i got dced and then tried logging in again and thats when i got the message that i was banned.
Hmm,this is bad news for me. I liked to think that they only went after heavy botters/gold sellers ,not casual botters like it seems you were. What exactly did you do when botting ,can you give us more info?
Yeah i initially didnt think i was gonna get caught either. i wasnt really using it as much, just to farm gold. like i said i would probably monitor it for about 40% of the time cause i would either do homework or do things around the house etc. i think one of the things that gave it out was probably due to alot of people farming the same instance cause i had read in a thread where it said if too many people are running the instance its too much of a high risk so yeah.
Come on guys, dungeon farming is high banrate, it doesnt matter if you only farm a few hours or if you farm recklessly. The only accounts you should use it on is suicide account you created just to farm those and get banned after getting the gold.
I just started a new toon,and decided this time, to bot dungeons just for leveling purposes . Is it the same? Or they catch people doing the same dungeon over and over.
Wasn't exactly complaining about my ban, i accept it. Was just reinforcing the idea of even the casual botter can you get you banned. @LCaveman I would just be really careful. I've heard the risk of getting stuck and being reported, but there is always risks.
