Just a simple question.. For those who run 5, 10, 20 etc bots How do you do it? Do you have like a godlike PC, or multiple PCs?? I'm looking to expand but it seems my PC can only handle 3-4 of WoW to be run at the same time without lagging as hell.
Disable all addons and turn graphics down to below minimum settings ("Lower Than Low" Settings Macros : wow). That's the basics. Some people run wow with the graphics engine entirely disabled - you can tell who they are, they complain about ban waves. Most important - do not bot (especially afk) on an account you are not willing to lose.
You need a half decent PC, Its about the CPU and RAM, then just turn everything to low like this guy said ^^^^
What is very important besides graphics you should limit your background FPS in WoW (System - Advanced - Max Background FPS). I personally limit it to ~13 fps
I have 6 bots farming on 2 of my screens, with a separeted wow client that uses the lowest settings possible. And then i play on my main on my main screen. Using one PC for it all, no lagg and no freezes. I do have a fairly good PC, but when all settings are set to the lowest on the botting accounts, they dont realy use mch of my CPU/GPU anymore.
Running 5 WoW botted on my laptop, wow is set to use only the cpu integrated graphics, not the nvidia (turns my fan very loud). in average this setup uses around 30-50% of my cpu. it's an i7-3612QM. could run 4-5 more bots on it. the advices given above are mandatory
Can I get some help? Hey, I see that you are running quite a few, and that's what I've been trying to do, I just can't seem to get the PC right. You said that you have a fairly good PC, so is there any chance I could get the specs for your PC?
