I'd be surprised at anyone NOT wanting to buy it tbh - it's saved me a ton of time so far. I'll be buying the premium version
Ah well that got buried then so gg. Shame a more official warning couldnt be made. Some people just will not be able to afford this product and if the lite version is cheap at 8 euros then I worry at how expensive the next version will be. Will there be a free version?
yep... it's now called the GarrisonButler WoD Lite by Dreams Version: 1.0.0 (12/28/2014 2:59:01 PM) Initial store release just released yesterday. problem is the 0.7.1 version still have problem being not doing any daily profession CD, not able to start barn work orders, getting stuck when starting work orders @ profession buildings if u don't have mats (don't have that problem with herb garden).. and I always have mats. there is another guy with garrison bot but it cost more however there is option available to start mission without abilities countered and less than 100%... I found it hard to level up low level green followers with this bot. it seems like the 1.0.0 initial store release is same as 0.7.1 and didn't say anything about fixes or new features. for me i'll wait till those are fixed.
Since GarrisonButler Lite is up on the store, anyone have seen noticeable difference from the beta 0.71 version? Most remarkable - working Profession CDs, since that is the most used feature, not working as intended.
So far, the Lite version is working on Profession CDs. One more thing @Deams Could you make the chars stop at the gate of the garrison fort (currently at herb garden) before logging off or going for HBRelog-next task? Cant modify the code since its via buddystore now Edit: I probably be wrong. the professional cds seem only work for the 1st time, not thereafter
Or use the already-outdated beta version of GarrisonBuddy. But I could add something more dramatic - Bossland or The Buddy staff to take a very good action and obtain the GarrisonBuddy as Default Botbase, shipped with the Honorbuddy product. This could be the best addition for the Honorbuddy since years!
Can you make the bot not require an Anvil or other profession tool if you have an Ultimate Gnomish Army Knife?
Not sure where i can even get the old version i tryed to use the svn wont work maybe its me not sure would love to try this, since i cant get in the store.
He didn't delete the beta version yet: Download 0.7.0: https://github.com/Deams51/GarrisonBuddyBeta/tree/ee8f8dbf03ff74bf12ed9e297510aab8bb474a15 Update to 0.7.1: https://github.com/Deams51/GarrisonBuddyBeta/commit/6db0073d8bcacbadf8a30f34c1593f52651a3b84
How much is the full version going to cost, and what exactly are the differences between that and the lite version? Will there be a limited but free version and/or trial version? What kind of logic can we expect in quest completion? For example, I'd only want to run missions for epic gear if that piece is a higher ilvl than I already have in that spot. I wouldn't want to run a mission for garrison resources if an appropriate follower with scavenger would be available soon. I'd generally pick a 50% chance to succeed mission with scavenger over a 100% without. I wouldnt send an epic on an xp mission unless it was level 100 and I didn't have an appropriate blue follower for it. etc.. How many of these conditions can be/ will in the future be accounted for? Having missed out on the beta, I have no idea how good the botbase works, and although I have heard great things, I'm too broke to put even $10 into it to find out. I'm sure some (possibly all) of my questions could be answered but you know.. 124 pages and all. Thanks for any info provided
You can use TortoiseSVN option: Update to revision. Type revision 24. EDIT: although I explained how to do it, I don't recommend. As said before by deams, version 0.7.1 has a minor security issue.
- There is a trial version (3 days) - Currently you can't change the logic for missions. Bot only sends what is 100% achievable. Deams stated that they'll work on adding mission options later. - Botbase is pretty straight-forward (at least for now): there are a few options on what to harvest and work orders to start and collect.
