Next quest later. Bot gets stuck in a loop on the quest object. Uses the object (the black statue goblin) mounts, unmounts, uses same statue, mounts, unmounts, over and over and over. See screenshot and log.
EDIT 1: If its getting stuck on objects in the environment, please report them to the Mesh support page. EDIT 2: Is not included in this log file, can't comment on your issue.
Hello I recently purchased the premium version of the plugin and was wondering after selecting eastern kingdom or outlands do i need to load a profile? I hit start bot and it loads my last used profile.
View attachment 15772 2014-12-22 21.01.txt Here you go. I restarted honorbuddy and This time it said "The currently loaded profile does not contain a sub profile usable for the current character (is your toon too high level?)"
Any plans on changing this? Would love to run this on several characters, but a few have long-term quests and I really don't want to have to wait for a month or two to start this. If this is the only permanent way to ensure smooth profile running, that's unfortunate, but will deal with it on my end.
I currently have no plans to change this. Its mostly so that the profiles do not fail due to overfull quest logs.
That was the reasoning I was expecting, but was hoping there would be an option one day to allow there to simply be a way to use it until it ran into the HB quest log full logic. It'd be too cumbersome for you to keep two profile sets updated, so I wouldn't ask that of you, but is there a way to change something from True to False for those of us that would like to? Such as there is with IgnoreCheckpoints?
The check only occurs at the start of an area if you have not done the first quest on the list. If you happend to do the "first quest of the zone" then it would skip over the quest clear. Of course, the "first quest" is not usually the "Hero's Board" or such quest, and can change depending on whether or not a quest must be done or is optional. Basically, if you go to the first area of a zone, grab a few quests, and hit start, chances are you're gonna skip the log clear...but its not guaranteed depending on if you went to the right town to start.
I was hoping I could manually select zones that I wanted to quest in :-( Im missing just a few areas for Loremaster and I dont want it to go through them all
It would only go through them all if your character does not have them. There has been, since the beginning of this project, a HUGE debate on what this project should do. "Make it do everything", "Make it do the minimum", "Make it do what I choose", "Make it do things that don't matter". I have had to rewrite how it determines what to do so many times, that it was starting to take away from adding more to this. It will currently do any sections that the character you are running does not currently have completed in terms of ACTUAL achievements, not achievement progress on the Loremaster meta (another point people complained to get it to do, not just what it needs, but what it needs for individual achievements).
Ye problem is, on this character I did most of the Achievements pre-Cata, so now the bot obviously wants to finish the NEW quests that was added after the 'destruction' of the old world.
Yeah the pre-cata achievement was "number of quests" where post-cata is now "number of quests per zone".
No, I mean for example; I did the Westfall quests before Cataclysm. Then Cataclysm hit, and the zone was "re-invented" with new landscape and new quests. So I got the Achievement before Cataclysm, and now that there are new quests in the zone, your Plugin obviously want to do the quests, cause it thinks I still need them for my Loremaster achievement, which I dont Awesome Plugin though, unfortunately it's just not for me :-(
The plugin scans for the specific zone achievements. If you go to the achievement pane, quests tab, and the individual continent subtab, you will see a list of achievements named after the zones, I.e. "Silithus quests". Westfall in particular is part of a group achievement, titled "Westfall and Duskwood quests". If you do not have this achievement then it will do this section. The plugin does not scan for retired achievements or for actual progress in the meta (used to, multiple complaints asked for it to scan for zone achieves instead). In short: this plugin will run through every zone in which you need a zone achievement for. In this particular example, it will finish westfall before heading to Duskwood to finish that particular achievement.
Any way to 'skip' Hillsbrad foothills? I'm to strong to complete the quest 'Human infestation'. Would be cool if we can go to the other next zone and do this zone on a low toon
I tried loading plugin on my level 30 alt, pluging giving an error i'm not high enough? That's just weird..
I am aware that legacy buffs halt progress of quests now. Hopefully Blizz can come up with a solution to allow max level characters to be able to still do Loremaster quests. At this time, there is no override for individual areas other than the completion of quests. Also, completion of the zone on another character will not allow another character to skip over it. The achievements it scans for are not shared and are tied to the currently active character.
