Hey guys so i was botting today doin one of the nagrand 665 grinds and i have an addon so i can see who whispers me. when i checked my pc someone whispered me 3 hours earlier saying: Hey what are you farming? obv i didnt respond and then he said Bot Reported. What is likely to happened to this , i added him to ignore as soon as i returned but will this be a 72hr suspention or does there need to be multiple reports against you? Thanks
I wouldn't worry that much. Ofc there is a chance but if there is just 1 guy reporting I doubt you will get hit.
meh, it doesn't make you a bot just because you didn't feel obligated to talk to someone. What makes you a bot is farming the same spot 8 hours a day for weeks on end. If you're really concerned you can switch up your routine, limit your hours of operation, maybe time to start working on alts on a different bnet account. GMs like easy work, they don't like hunting people down. If you're offline when the report goes through it's likely nothing will happen. You cannot be reported for not talking to someone. At most a note will be left on your account, that any GM can see. It's like a comments section, which could be a problem in the future.
This. Had a friend that was botting, and he was suporvising the account at the time. He got a whisper from a Game Master wanting to chat with him, and he just logged off. After that, he never heard anything, and his account is still active to this day. This was about two years ago. Depends very much on what kind of a Game Master you get witch hunted by, though.
