[PAID] GarrisonButler

I think you misunderstand me, I sometimes misrepresent myself, I agree with his tactic, his work is very good and he deserves to be paid. This will ensure it.

Also the stuck issues for the WarMill still exist in the paid version.

 

I have an issue in the Bunker sometimes when the npc moves as starting work orders. My suggestion was to have the character wait there in the middle of the room until the work orders can be successfully completed.

However, this issue doesnt stop it from working, just gives it a little delay. Is it stopping for you?

 

I just used the paid version for the first time and it did something that the free version didnt. As soon as I started it, he went to look for an anvil to do my engineer profession cooldown after it was done it just stood there for about 10 minutes saying "[GarrisonButler Lite] 1.0.0: [Profession] Realizing daily CD: Secrets of Draenor Engineering" after about 10 minutes I stopped the bot and started it again, now its doing the rest of the stuff.


***** Disregaurd******** Just did it again on another toon and I noticed on the bottom of HB it is saying "Loading tile", I guess I was just being impatient. Working perfectly

 

wait, i bought it but then saw it was only a lite version and a ice was going to be released.. do i have to refund and wait to buy the other version? or is there an upgrade option?

 

Same old bug:

1. After picking up mines, the char goes to herb garden.
2. After herbing once, it might find a new respawned mine so it mounts up and moves to pick up the mine.
3. The char stops in the middle of the mine tunnel and run back to herb garden.
4. Then it herbs again, mounts up, goes to mine and goes back.

Also the professional cds are working fine for the 1st time using the bot, but not thereafter. It shows No professional cd detected in the log.

 

I've just got it this evening and 5 toons all work orders collected and placed, mine/garden harvested big difference in performance from GarrisonBuddy to GarrisomButler --- Profession CD working big thanks for Deams

 

I am wondering the same thing, if there will be an upgrade option. Dont really wanna pay full price twice.

I notice that my Angelic Feathers are turned off with the botbase also. I assumed this was due to the number of stucks in the mines and even in the Garrison. I suspect it will need to remain this way.

As is I can farm all 3 Garrisons in < 30 minutes while afk using HBRelog. Pretty OP IMO!

 

I have 9 x 100's and had a small heartattack when i got home did a SVN update then saw garrisonbuddy wasn't working. But thankfully I saw it has made it to the buddy store I have never been so happy to part with some money for such a good product that I was able to use for free for so long. Thank you and keep up the good work. Enjoy the cash

I know this has been a really harsh few days for you users as for me. :/
The botbase had to change name, the first release got to the store faster than expected (which is usually a really good thing), the latest SVN version got deleted for security reasons, the post has been moved...
It was as hectic as it could have been! Sorry for it, I am an adept of transparency and honesty, this time I was pissed at myself for not preparing it better.

I would like to go over the few points evoked before.

First let's speak about the security issue.
One rule concerning those, you don't say anything until it's fixed. That's it.
And since some users still want to use the free version of the SVN, I won't say anything except to look for yourself, it's there. Ho and the free version will remain FREE, it just won't evolve!
I don't want to force anyone to buy the LITE or ICE versions, they are there as a way to support the work I put into it.
Just imagine how easy it is for anyone to make a ripoff of GarrisonButler since I decided to let the code on GitHub, soon we might see hundreds of them.
They don't even have to look for any LUA code, any information from the game, it is already there with nice comments and a good layout.

By the way I would like to recall to everyone that in the absence of a license on GitHub:

So you get a near perfect paid version, a premium version and a free version, working already better than anything else out, you also get the source code with all the modifications from the first beta release to now to learn from, you can fork it but you are forbidden to post it on the store if you use some code of it.
Now, please. NO OTHER DEVELOPERS, that I know of here, ARE DOING THIS! Nowadays if a product is on the store, you can dream about seeing the code.
I do it because I believe in the community, cause someone might have better ideas or maybe someone will become an excellent developer because he had some code to play with as a teen.
Especially since the BuddyStore hides everything to the user, which is awesome as a HB user but not as an amateur coder.

Will continue the other issues in another post to stay clear.

 

When is the ICE version coming and will LITE users get a bit of a discount for it?
Just bought LITE as I need to manage a lot of garrisons

Hi, I purchased the Lite version and have a couple questions regarding it's use.

First, I noticed the Bot comes to a complete stop (loot error) when looting with autoloot enabled in wow options. It happens with with both the mine and herb harvests, and only turning off autoloot and and manually harvesting another node seems the get the bot moving again. Is this intended?.. and is there anyway to get it working with autoloot so I don't have to switch back and forth to run this bot (I prefer to keep it on myself).

Second, I understand you have disabled starting trading post work orders for the time being, is there an eta on when this might be coming? Until then is there a way you could just blacklist the trading post if no working can be start due to lack of resources... personally, I keep several stacks of all the possible resources on all my characters and periodically restock, so I don't have to remember to mail some over

And last, when you have the option to use coffee and mining pick enabled, the bot just seems to be using them when the cooldown is off regardless of whether it needs to or not. The effect lasts 10 min and the cooldown is only 2 min, so it can blow through the whole stack pretty quickly if left as is. Is there any way to only use it when either the effect isn't present, or when you have 5 and need to make room for a new one?

Hey, the ICE edition is stated as 24.99 for now, way more expensive since you're buying for developer time and all the new features which will be added during the expansion.
But give a try to the Lite edition, 3 days trial, it will still get bug fixes and small features!

Indeed would be interesting to speed things up!
