Lite version stacks multiple mining pick and coffee buffs, not sure if this is possible without the botbase.

The botbase itself is really good but the 'pricing model' isnt very good imo, having to pay 25e to get new features or 8e to get just a minor bugfixed version of what just now was free, that said i bought it due to the excellent work the author has done, but it feels more like a mandatory donation than buying a product.

(and having to pay for a 'lite' version is very odd, and hopefully not a sign of things to come..)

 

If we purchase the lite version and like it, use it...then down the road we want more and decide to purchase the Ice version, do we get credit/discount for what we already spent on this product, as it should be?

I bought Ice version - but works fairly bad with druids.

it does not change form to attack mobs in cat form, it stays in caster form... and yes it is checked to auto change form in combat routine.

 

which routine do you use, but anyways i guess without a log its just a guessing game for dreams.
i will check it on my drood but iam pretty sure he switched to moonkin before he attacked in mine / garden (used singular), since pathing seemed better then with "costum" cr´s.

 

Dumb question time! Right now, at this moment in time, the only difference between ICE and Lite is "Delete coffee and mining pick if too many in bags"? Thanks!

 

I use my guild bank as a central storage location across my characters to help shuffle mats around. A suggestion would be to have the bot drop the Guild Chest (from the guild perk) and loot any required mats for work orders. Then deposit any extra mats into the guild bank.

First, I am glad to be supporting this awesome project. Since you are taking suggestions for the ICE version, I would like to re-suggest what I stated in an earlier post, and many others have also requested.

1. Allow bot base to finish missions, then assign followers to all garrison buildings before picking up work orders. After completion of all building/ dailies related tasks, un assign the followers from the buildings before launching missions.

2. Allow option for herb garden that when a follower is assigned we may select the type of herb to plant for the day if it is available. If it is not have a second choice or just do random planting. I find myself needing an abundance of frostweed and an option to choose what is planted for the day would be very helpful.

3. I have also noticed the issue with the bot using multiple instances of mining pick and coffee.

4. The option to send the toon to a particular zone to harvest timber for a certain time/ quantity after taking care of the garrison would be awesome.

Just bough the ICE version as well now so have both. Well worth the money to support this project, especially considering the work that has been put into these.

I can't quite believe there are some people complaining at having to buy the lite version, considering the time it saves it's an easy decision.

Why would you need both? Ice does the same thing as the lite version plus more. If you buy ICE you dont need the lite version. I bought the lite version, then got a refund on it and bought ICE. This was suggested by deams a few pages back, he said that what he would have done. He doesnt want anyone to pay twice for the same product.

 

It doesn't do daylie profession CDs, although its activated.

 

Thats a known issue. Deams said it was fixed and the updated was submitted to the store today, it may not have been pushed out yet.

 

Hi Deams,

Running LITE 1.1.1 from the BuddyStore. I activated <StartMissions> and the bot just runs around my Garrison spamming this message:

It never entered my town hall or started any missions.

P.S. Any plans to stop making us confirm our settings after you update the botbase? It's pretty annoying having to manually login to each toon to do this each time you update, especially after realizing that I just wasted an hour with a relogger of toons just standing there because this kept stopping each bot. If you add new settings, just have them default to false, post about it here and let us initiate updating the settings.

This is mildly inconvenient with one character, but extremely frustrating with 10+.

I just purchased ICE version because of the great reviews for this bot and Deams seems to be on top of his game.
I have never done anything for my garrison before,and don't know anything about it, i did level it up to 2 for the bot to work.
I start it ,it gathers garrison resources ,then it runs whatever missions available (the ones where you start them, and just wait for them to complete), then it says ,going to check if we missed anything, get the message your garrison has been taken care of.And thats all it does,(i just let it run for couple of minutes tho,maybe it need more time)
On the settings i have everything checked,cause i wanted to see it run around do everything it could.
My question is, Do i need to pick up quests manually?,Or anything i need to do?.
I was expecting it to just start running like crazy doing it's thing, starting quests,collecting ,turning in quests,etc. Maybe i'm wrong.Like i said i know nothing about garrison.
Any input i'll appreciate,Thank you.

 

It's NOT doing quests for your buildings. It is probably supposed in the future releases but not now.

 

Well if you start using your Garrison more, you will certainly get more out of the ICE version. It will eventually include quest turn-ins and some gathering / profession pre-reqs (i.e. milling). It already is an all inclusive botbase, however, if you don't have a full Garrison (i.e. profession buildings, large and medium buildings) then you got the full extent of your Garrison. Complete missions, collect garden and mine ... that's it.

 

I see, i was under the impression that all i needed was a lvl 2 garrison, and this bot would take care of the rest.
