After the HB downtime last night, HB started crashing. After loading a profile, one I have used countless times without fail, once trying to start HB it locks up and and disconnects the client - giving an autoselfcast cvar error at the login screen after disconnect. After clearing the cache as I saw recommended elsewhere, HB appears to get one step further, but it black lists the flightmaster (standing right next to it) and interacting with NPC's becomes impossible - never loading the window for interaction, such as a flight master's flight path options, or things as simple as trying to mount, causing me to believe running HB is disconnecting the client. The exact error given after disconnect is: [string "WoW,lua"]:1:Couldn't find CVar named 'AutoSelfCast' Code: [06:06:27.006 D] Activity: Honorbuddy Startup Complete[06:06:27.006 N] Honorbuddy Startup Complete [06:06:32.870 D] Activity: Loading Profile... I managed to completely delete the plugin, however I still am receiving the exact same CVar error and client crash/disconnect. =/
Done and done. It's strange that this error randomly started occuring when I have made no changes to HB, and there have been no patches that I know of to the game client - However, after the HB downtime last night/early this morning, this CVAR error now occurs every time I attempt to start HB. Anyway, thanks in advance! Update: Tried completely clearing the HB folder of all content and replacing with a brand new clean install, as well as DX9 mode, neither of which made a difference and it still either A. Crashes the client immediately on bot start giving the CVAR error (90% of attempts), or B. Causes the game to "disconnect", without being able to load mobs when traveling to a new area, interface frames such as flight path windows, or being able to mount (about 10% of the time) - while still remaining in game - until the client eventually "catches up" and prompts of disconnect. This is the same with any of the various profiles I have tried, all of which having worked beforehand without error.
