[PAID] GarrisonButler

Bought the lite version a couple of minutes ago, and I am very dissapointed... Restarted it several times and the following are errors I got within 10 minutes

- Bot is not handling the level 3 mine at all and keeps on running into the wall
- didn't do anything anymore after harvesting herbs even though it was by far not finished
- runs into random building walls
- forgets to start work orders

Stopped the bot and will refund as it was just frustrating to watch.

 

Hi there, this is the second time I've seen assign a follower to a building thing and I have a question. Why? If you assign it manually it never goes out of the building does it? If the follower isn't in the building when the work order is completed it won't have the desired affect will it? Are people thinking if you add the follower right before you collect you get double the work orders as if the follower was there the whole time?

Also, I am having issues [ICE] with the Horde Garrison Level 3 Mine the room that opens at level 3 with the water. It misses a few of those nodes frequently 2 out of 4 characters so far today which wouldn't normally be a big deal. However, they are directly below the herb garden... so this causes a major back and forth battle because when it runs to the mine they are too far away to detect. Can you possible add a forced behavior where it goes to that room and check for nodes?

 

Exactly - as has been stated previously, the extra bonus from the follower is given just by having the follower assigned when the work order is collected. Although Blizzard are fixing this soon.

 

I would suggest trying to troubleshoot your install first as it sounds like there are issues there, and then try posting a log. Clearly sometime is working right for you.

There are thousands of other users using this botbase who've been using it almost flawlessly for weeks now, so these issues seem specific to your setup.

 

Stopping by quickly, indeed please post a log concerning your issues.
As Wullie stated, the beta was used by several thousands of users on sometimes more than 50 toons and nobody had so important issues.
I am the first to admit the botbase is not yet perfect, but still this is certainly something unique to you from all the reports I had the time to look at.
Which makes a log necessary and more importantly makes your situation really important to fix if it comes from GarrisonButler, which is not sure from all the issues you have.


Edit: To anyone who wants to use this BotBase, please use the trial first.
Because as soon as you ask for a refund, you won't be able to buy it ever again! And I do mean it, the rules of the store are strict and I won't go around them.

 

Seems its not working with my horde chars, bot just crashing

the lite version looks like the last version of the open beta, can you confirm I'm not losing anything by switching?

Edit: Also, is there an upgrade available from lite to ICE, or do I have to pay full price again?

 

I can imagine the frustration, but the problems you have are indeed the problems YOU have. It's not the botbase, all things you report work fine for others. Disable all addons and make sure you have all meshes downloaded (matter of time).
And... supply a log! Otherwise Deams can not help you.

You should remove that immediately, as is shows your character name. (If an moderator sees this first, perhaps they could be so kind as to remove it)

Deams: Probably best to do a check on the content of the file not found exceptions, I think HB has built-in functions to strip out toon names.

Also, it appears you only have a Level 1 Garrison, is this correct? You'd need to upgrade it to at least level 2 for this BotBase to work (Just run kicks questing and it'll do it for you in an hour or so for a fresh 90). Then be sure to configure it, which *should* create the configuration file.

 

You should post the security fix so everyone in the community (across all bots, plugins, etc...) can benefit. No reason to keep a potential bannable flaw a secret. What's the logic in that? Are you just trying to sell more copies? I'm confused.

Thought of another couple of ICE features:

- do the starter missions to unlock the buildings and initial work orders
- option to auto upgrade buildings - either buy plans or when achievement has been reached to allow upgrade. Likewise option to upgrade castle. Option to choose buildings for toon to build if there are none on plots (and then subsequently upgrade)
- complete garrison invasion mission

 

Just bougth the Lite version. Here are some suggestions:

- Use Thermal Anvil item from bag if bot cannot find an anvil in the Garrisson
- Ability to craft the old MoP proffesion cooldowns because people still do them, and it would be great to get them done the same time as the new WoD proffesion dailies are done. (example: Jard's Peculiar Energy Source, Living Steel etc)
