Hes running into the problem a lot of us are, Dougwayne. I highlighted the problem in a post to Tuanha, but it got no response. Looking at his posting history, he's busy on other routines. A problem with having so many different combat routines. Although aggravating that you paid for it, we cant force him to drop everything to make changes to a quickly programmed combat rotation. Panasonic, use Chi Brew and Serenity in your talents for most bosses. When combat starts, (Click your 1000 agility potion if Hero is blown), manually cast Xuen, manually cast chi brew once, then start watching your energy like a hawk. After FoF is cast, watch for energy to empty again, manually cast energizing brew until empty again. Once empty, look at your tigereye stacks and cast chi brew again if it puts you at 10 stacks (In the 650's ilvl range, you should be at 10 or close already). The routine does not cast Chi Wave, if you're empty and you dont have 10 stacks of tigereye yet and out of Chi Brew, cast that as filler during 0 energy (its instant and off the GCD). Once at 10 stacks and the energy bar is empty again, cast Serenity. After your burst period, keep an eye on your energy and manually use Energizing Brew anytime it seems like the routine may not use it. Be sure to also cast Chi Wave when you have FoF, Serenity, Energizing brew on CD and you're at 0 energy. When your Serenity is about to come off of CD, use your Chi Brew to raise tigereye stacks to 10 (the routine is pretty good at using 10 stacks of tigereye when it uses FoF and you'll battle back and forth between FoF and Serenity for tigereye stacks). You can keep up to 20 stacks of Tigereye, dont manually use it unless you're at 19-20 stacks. You're trying to follow the same ideals that are set down in your burst phase basically. The Routine is terrible about using Death Touch, so as soon as it comes up and is able to be used - start spamming it until you get it out. It is a HUGE part of your DPS and its a shame that the routine misses it at times. From there, its all about using abilities during peak times in between boss abilities. Kargath - If you arent in the chain group, after being bounced away from him, step back a bit more and cast Chi wave and *****ling Jade Lightning. After people have been selected for Chain, roll in and start watching your energy. (Rinse and repeat this step each time. I advise you to macro your Chi Wave and *****ling Jade Lightning together. It will cast both abilities when one (like chi wave) is instant cast.) Have Xuen on automatic Cast. Make sure SEF is off (if it senses you have aggro from one the guys in the stands, it will continuously try to cast SEF and screw your dps up royally.) If you are ON Chain group - turn SEF Distance ON and set it to 4. Butcher - Since this is a DPS race, you need to be super mindful of everything being cast. Turn off automatic cast of Tigereye, Tigereye with FoF only, serenity, and if you're confident you can keep track of it, energizing brew. Essentially, this fight has a lot of open space for melee and its bad for dps. Butcher casts Bounding Cleave and you need to be mindful of it at all times. It knocks you back, then you have a short time to dps for 5 seconds before he races back to Ranged. During this empty period cast your Chi Wave / jade lightning macro until hes about in range and then start your rotation again. When Tigereye needs to be used, you need to see how long (DBM will tell you) till Bounding Cleave is cast. Once hes back in melee range, go to town and cast Tigereye when you see fit. Brackenspore - Switch your talent to ascension, away from chi brew. Turn SEF on in options and turn SEF distance OFF. Make sure you arent on the interrupt rotation and keep Brackenspore as your target the entire time. Simply making sure you're in the Shrooms at all times, not in Brackenspores Cone and watching use of Tigereye with Serenity and FoF will maximize your dps. The routine will handle the rest on this fight and you should be in the top 3 dps just because. Tectus - Switch to Ascension in talents, and switch Serenity to Hurricane Strike. Turn SEF on, but turn SEF Distance off. Turn everything else on in the routine options. One of the few fights in the entire expansion where routine does a good job. You need to focus on not standing in anything more than DPS. If you never get any Knock Back and you're on a boss the entire fight, you will come out in the top 3 dps. Twins - Switch to Chi Brew, and Serenity - follow the rotation i highlighted and make sure everything else is on automatic. Your MAIN target should be POL. When he starts to charge up for Shield charge, roll over to PHEMOS and start dps'ing him. When POL is back into range, switch back to him. During a Shield charge, they shouldnt be that far from each other. Just make sure you dodge fire, whirlwind and Shield Charge at all costs. Shield Charge will hurt your DPS the most if you are hit by it. Ko'ragh - Turn SEF off, completely. When Anomalies are spawning, move away from them as best you can. Keep serenity and 10 stacks of Tigereye ready to use when he goes into his Shield Charging phase. After that phase has ended, run over to where the anomalies are properly placed inside a suppression field and the routine should automatically aoe them down. When the fire bomb is on you, wait till its about to hit 0 and roll backwards away from the boss. 9/10 times youll roll into the center and wont have to worry about anyone being there. Quickly roll back to Ko'ragh and continue to dps. Xuen should be cast once in the beginning of the fight and then when hes off of CD, cast him again on Ko'ragh's last shield charging phase. You want to get xuen into at least 1 shield charging phase because hes magical. If you start the fight with him out, you're guaranteed to get two casts of him unless your team has amazing dps. Imperator - Single target rotation with burst, SEF is OFF completely. Make sure your back is always away from the mines, and only use rolls for nova's. When Imperator starts to run away, turn auto run on, pan your camera to the Ogre you arent running to and use your SEF macro (A macro that will allow you to cast SEF on that target without actually targeting them) to cast a charge of SEF on that Ogre. Then single target your main Ogre. Being there at the Ogres when they spawn will yield more DPS than following Imperator until he goes up in the air. The second set of Ogres will yield a Reaver, Reaver is main target, use macro on the other two ogres with SEF. After each ogre phase, run over to the tank with the anomalies and burn them down with the routines automatic aoe rotation. Rinse and repeat. Keep in mind your biggest priority is to avoid all the most punishing mechanics at all costs. Being alive is more important than a little bit of DPS since Imperator isnt a boss hog until the last 10%. Its unfortunate that you have to pay this much attention to a combat routine BOT, but you dont really have any other option right now. You'll notice tuanha seems to concentrate on Druids (seems like Im constantly updating the Druid routine), but he also has the most competition there as well. Sad state of affairs for other classes.
Might as well not use a CR with all that to manage. I paid a ton of money for this guys CR's combo pack and really frustrated. Wont even respond to me when I ask about a refund.
The boss fight tips you gave are just things you do to optimize your DPS. No CR in existence can play like a human can and avoid AoE do boss mechanics. I don't know why you expect it to. I'm a 99 percentile monk (ranks 20-100) competing with a guy in my guild that's doing Rank 1-20 logs. This is a comparison of our energizing brew and chi wave casts: My parse: The perfect monk's parse: This CR manages energizing brew almost perfectly. I don't see how he can improve it. This CR doesn't cast Chi Wave? Give me a break dude. This CR actually casts Chi Wave more than a real human does, and in times without wasting energy. You can see the comparison between my Chi Wave casts and the "perfect human" casts. This CR actually overtakes what a real human can do. That's crazy. I mean, at this point, everything you've said is nullified. The only things I have to do in my raid is manually cast Serenity, since it manages it so fucking awfully, and TEB during ChiEx cleave. These two issues are the only things this CR needs desperately. Otherwise, perfect rotation. EDIT: I study my logs diligently and really I'd like to list the problems with this CR in case Tuanha reads this post: Serenity opening and management is just plain bad. There are some conditions you need to add like "dont use if FoF is coming off CD", "dont use at full energy", "dont use if energizing brew is off cd", and POSSIBLY aligning it with trinket CD's. I know that's a lot to ask, but there it is. Use TEB if ChiEX is cleaving. This is huge on fights like Twin Ogron and Tectus, where I get absolutely BLOWN away by the human monk player because he's TEB'ing on ChiEX cleave, not only on FoF's. Use Touch of Death IMMEDIATELY REGARDLESS OF ANYTHING. It should be absolutely the top priority. The more touches you can get off on fights like Ko'ragh, Tectus, Brackenspore, and most mythic fights, the better.
Can some of you mistweavers post your mistweaver and advanced settings screenshots? I am trying to figure out why my 660 MW sucks shit when I run this CR.
On the subject of Touch of Death, it's not that the routine doesn't use it immediately. It's that it rarely has enough chi to use it when it's first able to. I actually have to PAUSE the routine in order to save up 3 chi to ToD, that's ridiculous. It should be able to sense that we're at 10-15% hp and should start saving 3 chi asap.
Again! PVE BREW TANK is DEAD for Tuanha? Im all-in-one paid costumer and NOTHING was doing for Brew PVE until now.
dude no one wants to tweek setting or do things manually lol i think there are some things you should do by hand
This CR is not dead for BM tanks i run this in mythic and doing top ranks on some fights so its not dead just need a bit of twekings ill still love if the CR use healing tonic over warlock hs and the lvl 100 talent is not perfekt but it works and we need to use Rushing Jade Wind at the lvl 90 talent so we dont look bad (bottish bad)
What more do you want? It does everything you want. Set it to purify medium stagger, use Elusive brew at 10 stacks, and spam purifying brew during serenity yourself. Everything else is automatic. Or just turn off "Aoe Rotation" when you're not using RJW. Use healing tonic yourself, time it with high resolve and guard up for basically Lay On Hands.
CR Doesnt seem to work with auto move and auto face while questing. Am the only one having this issue or is it not supported yet? (I have the paid version)
A good exemple is about Expel Harm. When we get 30 less HP he keeps using others skills intead Expel Harm. And during the fight as well, doent matter if i set Expel Harm for 100,90,80, etc, the CR hit with Jab.
I've redownloaded and reupdated and it's still happening. It'll move from quest to quest but once it enters combat it just stands there, and if it does manage to move towards a mob, it wont auto face.
