Would anyone want to update this superdupermega-awesome plugin? It worked in the beginning, now it doesn't jump.. no errors, but still.
It's really not hard to make your own plugin that does a jump randomly. Just copy anti-drown's logic and apply it above ground.
Rofl the entire point of making a bot jump is to NOT share the source otherwise all bots will be jumping in the same manner, read the code, change it. Not hard to do here is a basic logic, i cant compile right so it may have errors - i do suggest you add randomness to it, no i wont give away my algorithm for that.
Lol, come down from your high horse. If you have a working algorithm for 'randomness' then it would be RANDOM and wouldn't lead back to you at all or increase the risk of being banned if others were using it. Just saying.
@tom - you know as well as I do that there is no such thing as truly random in programming, if every bot out there started to use this thread and jumped based on the method i use for randomness then it would be easily picked up, its random because i know how i randomized it an no one else does, and its safer for everyone to have their own randomness calculations. Please don't troll on these forums I was providing useful information which i did not see you doing.
any update on this? and @winifix i tried it your way but im running into errors is there any way you could put it so we can just copy paste? i'd appreciate it.
No update required, i am still using it fine. Sorry dont have this version any more so cant provide you with plain text version, my version has tons of other features in to customize how my mage plays in bg's.
so help me out here guys.. so much contradictory information and bickering. Does the plugin in the OP still work, or is the code above what everyone is using? IIRC (and it was SOME time ago) the plugin had an ability to set the jump intervals and a +/- modifier. This still present in whichever "version" your using? thanks!
The plugin runs but it doesn't jump for me. And due to excessive amount of dbagism and mistrust amongst botters, I doubt we'll get a fix for this. Probably better off figuring this out of your own.
ok so it runs but doesnt do anything Well... dunno about mistrust but if a version does work and someone isnt sharing the dbagism sure does apply. Not sure who the original author is but apparently he isnt around. I'm surprised another one of the community guys hasnt fixed this and gotten it working real quick. I mean.. not jumping is one of the easiest ways to tell if someones botting and the last thing we need is more attention. Simple common sense there. thanks for the reply bud!
That's the thing though right... If you are the only botter that jumps, you are above suspicion but if you share it then most botters will jump too! That means the statement that "botters don't jump" no longer hold true in the public mind. However, I still think it's a dbag move not to share.
