Settings intended reset each update, thats how it work.

 

It doesnt run to the MISSION Table, just the large table with a shit load of chairs around it in the middle of Town Hall which looks lika a regular dining table., it doesnt even go near the missions table.

And it does it even with all addons disabled.

 

If its working as intended then I wont be using the mail feature at all, you know how long it takes to put all those ID's in 9 characters? I dont mind the rest of the settings, but the mail setting need to be saved in a separate file that does not reset.

 

Feature suggestion:

Add an option to auto-vendor green and blue weapons and armor (player gear) in addition to the auto-vendoring of grey stuff. This would be particulary useful for Salvage Yard users as this trows tons of vendorable items

This vendoring might just be as easy as the questing vendoring logic. Meaning vendor everything that isn't on the protected items list, matching the given item quality.


Additional suggestion:

Add the option to auto-open weapon and armor tokens to loot the item they provide, example: Turbulent Armament - Items - World of Warcraft

Request - Add another tab to bot config window that contains the changelog so it can be easily viewed without jumping over to the website/thread.

It seems the bot is not entering trading post work orders on any character of mine even though I have it selected -- does anyone else have this problem?

Other than that everything works fantastic, almost all of the bugs have been worked out.

Why is it opening the garrison report window whenever it collects or starts work orders?

 

This is THE PERFECT addon. I just have one issue with it.
I use BG farmer a lot (secondary botabse) so I cant use both BGfarmer and Butler in mixed mode. Any way of switching GB as a primary botbase in order to use with BG farmer ?

 

Since there is quite some stuff in development atm it might be worth looking into either WoW addons or HB plugins to do some of these tasks. For example there is an addon I believe called Sell-O-Matic that can vendor items by their ilvl, not 100% on that. There is HB plugin called MrItemRemover that can open and vendor all sorts of shit. Perhaps we could rig up a version of MIR or a settings file people could use.

Still got issues with barn, bot ignoring refresh order setting, and not interacting with npc to refresh orders.

So ive been using this version from SVN,and now the trial, i really like it and the improvements over the past month are really big. But.... why on every new version i have to re-set every damn char form scratch? its a deal breaker really, id love to buy it, but right now with that problem and that the bot trys to take out of the mining carts the archaeology fragments even when his already full i have to babysit the bot... and then i just can do it myself, since no time is saved :/

Ps. whatever you changed in version 1.4.0.19, my fps went from atleast 20 while running Garrisonbutler to 4-8 with a million stucks

This is because of a Blizzard frame bug. It is a workaround in our code to fix that. This is intended behavior. Thanks for your report!

It is necessary to ensure proper count of work orders.

Feature support of each version is not official until announced by Deams or myself. In general, ICE will be getting new "feature" support. Determination as to what is available in the Lite version is subject to change at any time. We have no official comment as to the availablity of any Lite features in the future. Only thing for certain is that ICE will support everything.

The bug has been fixed and will be pushed live soon. That said, I'm not sure if your settings files would have been wiped out by the bug or not. Do you have a backup copy of your settings? Can you verify if your settings are still in the file but just not loading?

This is NOT intended. A fix is being released soon. It is a bug with our "settings upgrade" logic. As we made the settings file easier to configure for power users by reformatting it, we had to include a way to upgrade from "old" to "new". But we made a mistake in the logic which was causing it to not work.

I gotta say, you picked one hell of a great person to help you work on this project (Justinr1234). If he is as good on the coding side as he is with customer service, then this project will have no limits. I gotta say I LOVE his attitude and the way he tries to answer everyone. I just added to his rep, and I am sure it wont be the last time.

 

Hey guys is there a way to save the settings you choose for every character?

I don't use HBRelog as yet but if I just log different characters it bugs out, if I exit HB and re log in I have to do all the bot config stuff again with every character

 

the files are still there but they are in a wrong folder like an other user mentioned before....

there is a new folder called unknown with other folder named by chars - in there are the actual setting which are ok but not used... GB creates a new file in Correct Realm folder and this is not configured when you start HB....

Concerning the settings issue, we did our best and integrated a fix. Pushing the new version now!
Please back them up for now if you use the bot and don't want to rewrite everything.
The fix should allow you to go through the upgrade flawlessly.

Added fix for settings upgrade issue experienced by some users
It should now properly upgrade any settings files using the old format.
Possible that it will now also work with old format from the first beta versions.

Could you post a full log?
Those messages are for diagnostic purposes. We do need them in case of a problem.
But you can quiet the messages displayed while running hb by changing the log related option in honorbuddy settings.
It will still keep the information in the files but won't spam you.
