umm 658 item level, itemized pretty well korgath mythic - 44.9k ( I went up for chains) Twins mythic - 32.3k Brackenspore - 48.2k Tectus - 38.9 not world ranking worthy yet, but my item level isnt world ranking worthy either
Is there a way to trail this ? Im very interested as im using the free CC atm called Uggla. I do pull mad dps with it tho I am high il. The issue im having is that my single target dps seems to be abit low compared to some other balance's I've seen. Do I have to just risk the 10Euro that it might do better dps then Uggla ?
Yes, please share your settings, because I'm 667 and I can hardly maintain 22k I think my Stars is broken or something, I'm getting outdpsed by way lower geared people and if I look at the numbers posted above by a druid 10 ilvl's lower than me and I don't even come close to that...I'm so confused right now

Stats - Stats are probably one of the most important things for a boomy. haste 10% self buffed 15% in raid, great number stop there or you start compromising damage. stack crit and mastery (Mastery just got buffed, cant get enough), multistrike is redundant. Cooldowns - There is a couple of ways to do this. 1 - Lazy to the max Potion on it's own keybind Macro: Code: /cast Celestial Alignment /cast Incarnation /cast trinket 1 if it has a use /cast trinket 2 if it has a use easiest if you just link the abilities into your macro from your spellbook. 3 seconds on pull timer use Potion / Macro / Moonfire to start combat. 2 - More Optimal Potion on it's own keybind Incarnation on it's own keybind Macro: Code: /cast Celestial Alignment /cast trinket 1 if it has a use /cast trinket 2 if it has a use 3 Seconds on pull timer, Pot / Incarnation, SS for empowerment, Use Macro, Moonfire. i can't give you a blanket "Settings" because my settings change on the fly as i need them... as a rule of thumb, General - i have facing, movement and targeting turned off, depending on the fight i change Multidotting from Automatic to Target on a need basis, same with starfall, adjusted on a fight to fight basis Spells - I have Celestial Alignment and Incarnation turned off I have Potion Use turned off under hotkeys i have a hotkey set up for disabling AoE for ST fights.... I also spend a boatload of time on training dummies trying different things out and researching the best way to play my boomkin, which might also help. Also, positioning and fight knowledge, pretty much one of the biggest things to maximize your DPS... know the fight inside and out.
Hey guys. I thought a lot of u might want to know what CR does the most Single target DPS.. So I tested the 4 main ones I could find. 5 mins of casting on SINGLE target dummy. NO buffs. No cds, no trinkets. Nothing. Starting rotation on starfire. 670 balance druid. I know these numbers seem low. but in raid its like 10K more dps with buffs and cds lust etc. FIRST ROUND TEST uggla 14.8k Stars 17.3k Hazzdruid 12.2k (couldn't stop it casting Celestial Alignment, tick the box, untick the box doesn't change. its casting wrath till full Lunar and starfire till full solar) BADBADBAD TuanHADruid (free addition) 15.2k Second Round Test Uggla 15.4k Stars 17.5k HazzDruid 11.8k (asif theres any point in testing when its casting warth in lunar and starfire in solar.) TuanHADruid (FREE) 15.5k After a good few hours of testing all different ways (at first I was poping all the cds but I found the test inconsistent because of the huge amount of RNG) Clearly pulling 2k+ more dps then any other balance druid CC. STARS!!!
Assuming u were using the hotkey to force a single target rotation ! If not, do that as well hehe should be higher then
I noticed that the routine casts sunfire as soon as it finished its current wrath cast while it has the solar peak buff. I believe it would be better to postpone casting sunfire and instead cast wrath if solar peak will not expire before wrath has finished casting. So ideally we want to cast sunfire as late as possible since it is better to be casting wrath at high eclipse energy assuming that sunfire does not expire and we still manage to cast sunfire while having the solar peak buff active. The same thing is obviously also relevant for moonfire.
You forgot - Your Raiding Buddy 2, also supports Balance, should probably compare against all available moonkin CR's to make your tests completely accurate
100% agree, Just tested it right now. x3 5min sessions. 17k, 17.1k and 16.9k Calling that 17kdps, So its coming in at second... Very surprised as I didn't even know this one existed.
If you are testing on target dummies, then make sure that you do not test with a target dummy where the initial damage from sunfire will get doubled by having another target dummy close, such that the value of solar peak is doubled. If sunfire will hit two targets then it is optimal to cast sunfire immediately upon getting the solar peak buff.
Hi, Mirabis. Yesterday The Butcher Mythic: me and another moonkin (both 674). He's 34k, i'm 28k. But it was my mistake: he was with Soul of the Forest, I was with Incarnation. But it's huge difference.
Maybe I used bot wrong? Hmmm...i turned off all abilityes, only Starsurge "on", targetting and facing off, multidot off. When I used on 1 try - multidot, i done 34k, but 2kk was on adds, which doesn't need attacked.
