Ok, so I got impatient and bought the routine to try it out. Big mistake. As it is right now, it is completely useless in arenas. Aside from the fact that there are very few PvP relevant configurables, there is no logic what-so-ever for hand of freedom. Doesn't even use the spell at all. It doesn't use rebuke properly at all, nor fist of justice. This routine may be good for PvE, I wouldn't know, but for PvP it is next to useless. I regret that Hazz didn't offer a trial version in the buddy store, because then I wouldn't have had to request a refund. This sucks, because if Hazz ever improves this routine for arenas, I am still ineligible to purchase it again because of BossLand refund policy. I am making this post in case anyone else is looking at this routine for PvP. Don't do it. Not yet. Even TuanHA's is better than this, and that routine is full of problems atm too.
I didn't see a trial. I didn't keep it because it was so far from the mark, I honestly didn't have any hope of it becoming something worth $20.
I paid 15. To expect a brand new CR to not be "far from the mark" at this point is a little unrealistic.
Yeah im in the testing group, and my main focus is Ret PVP. It is not very good now, but there is comming a lot of improvements!!! so stay tuned
What are you talking about? How is expecting any paid CR being advertised as viable in arenas to be viable in arenas unrealistic? If it was free, you might have an argument, but it's not. I don't pay to be part of an alpha test, sorry.
Well then take those expectations and the holier than thou attitude to another thread. We'll continue to help the author refine this routine without you.
Listen dude, you're the only one here dropping comments that don't help anything. I was simply leaving constructive feedback for anyone else looking through this thread due to interest in an arena profile. There were NO informative comments before mine regarding PvP, and now other people can avoid wasting their time/money. When this routine gets updated, then maybe things will change. If anyone wants to pay $15 or $20 to test an unfinished product, they can do that too. However I think everyone deserves to know what they're buying before dropping cash.
For those thinking about buying. The configuration is very rudimentary and needs a lot of work. The PvE rotation is not SimC optimized and will fall about 10-15% short of optimal depending on your talents. For PvP there are quite a bit of issues that need tweaking, again the shortcomings appear to be mostly due to abilities not being considered or the configuration for said abilities being inadequate. Having said that, I bought without hesitation. Paladin's don't have a ton of options right now and I will gladly help all 4 major routine authors improve theirs at once so I can use the one that ends up being the best. Don't buy this routine if you are expecting it to be the best available right now, you will only end up requesting a refund which prevents you from checking it out again when its better developed. Do buy if you are confident that this author will continue to develop and improve it, and you want to help with that process.
OK lets just get a few things straight here as some users are getting a little to big for their boots and using this SUPPORT forum to rant about features that are still in the progress of being added. Firstly the fact that some users have no coding experiance what so ever and are demanding immediate updates is quite rude to say the least, if they took the time to look over older post they can quite easily see the feature they are ranting about will be in the next release. There is always a trial period in which to try routines, nobody ever forces you to buy a routine. If you dont like a routine DONT BUY IT. I see to many people buying it without the trial and exspecting too much of not just only my routines but other routines. I mean seriously would you just go to a car dealers not look or try the car and just buy it? Lastly we come to the configuration and settings. Simply put there is now no 1 click load settings solition to config any routine, it used to be a simple 10man with same amount of healers, tanks and damage but now the groups can be so mixed that you need to config your settings for your groups. Use the preset settings as a guide and adjust them to what suits your mana etc. Well lets hope this cleared a few things up, im going back to programming. See you in the arena
I am getting 2.2k dps with Ret with this paid profile. Switched back to my the free Tuhuana and I am 25k dps. Not quite what I was expecting. I am not trying to be mean. I want to help make it better. Am I doing something wrong? View attachment RetLog.txt
Just bought it.... will be trying out in BGrounds, Arenas and a lil Raiding (all in Prot Pally)... If it either impresses me or disapoints, I'll give feedback lol (noone really cares about "good" nowadays, do they?) Now srsly, will try to give feedback on whatever I think.
Still alive and working on this big update. Hoping to get it pushed within the next few days You will be happy to know it WILL contain the new manual play detection system to pause the routine when keys are pressed.
Hi, I am wondering what kind of dps you guys are seeing in Ret with ilvl 670 on say training dummies in your garrison or in heroic HM raids on boss's? Just looking for a range I know it will vary. I appreciate any info you guys can pass along. Thanks
