Copy everything that YRB2 has for Hunters, add better Multidotting support - BOOM, you now have the best profile for hunter.
hi, i have testet the routine as first in hm lfr. most times withut a good pull by the tanks and so on but as a first test the dps looks very good. i use also Tuanha and YRB2 as paid routine and right now Huntastic looks pretty good. The focus management is quite good. Just tested this, seems to function quite well as Survival with Focusing Shot. Just one thing, it seems to want to cast multi shot on 3 targets rather than multi dotting additional targets with arcane shot. This is on the 5 target dummies in warspear.
Not sure if I can fully interpret your message but it will always choose to Multishot instead of using Arcane Shot when there's multiuple targets in range /IE. eligible for a multishot that will hit more then one. This is intended. Multishot does 40% Phys to X targets, whereas Arcane Shot does 110% Spelldamage. This means that the DPE of a Multishot is much much higher as it reapplies another 50% of Serpent Sting duration on all targets in a single GCD aswell. The multidotting is more relevant when the targets are not in range for a multishot but can be reached with an arcane shot.

Yes, multishot should do more direct damage however if those targets being multishot are already having a long serpent sting duration then tagging additional stray targets with serpent sting should be a dps increase unless there are like 5+ targets being multishot (might be more or less, please correct me if I'm wrong.). In a raid setting this wouldn't really happen too often though, maybe brakenspore, would have to test more in BRF. With that being said, routine is working very smoothly - I'm about to test in BRF. Should have a customer from me.

Incorrect. This is from Mythic Imperator, Take a look at the avarages, at 20% multistrike a Multi Shot (hitting 2 targets) does equal damage to a Arcane Shot (Sting ticks can multistrike dip), BUT. There's still the Damage per Focus to consider, so Arcane shot wins. But then there's the "possible" focus regen gained from a GCD Cast to consider aswell. There's a really really small dps loss cycling on 2 Targets with AS atm anyhow. And as you said, you also have to consider the duration of stings, but dont forget the instant ticks you gain when you refresh aswell that's another netdamage gain. Then again, if you consider stingduration you also must calculate the TTD. (Take Brackenspore as an example) The Spore or w/e will probably die (should, heh) in 3-4 seconds. *Edit: Just to add on this Multishot VS Serpent Sting situation. All sims I did in various gearprofiles all showed a loss with Arcane Shot, all really really close but still a loss. There could be a scenario where you have loads and loads of mastery and no Multistrike where AS could win, but then youre just gimping your other DPS sources since Multistrike stacking is so ridiculously good. @AdeptX7, Thanks for Considering the routine, hope you'll be satisfied!
Just to reiterate: For each Arcane Shot, our chance to get one extra Serpent Sting tick is: 1-(1-MS%)^2 And our chance at getting both exta Serpent Sting Ticks is: MS%^2 Adding those together we have: 1-(1-MS%)^2+MS%^2 Which simplifies to: 2*MS% A = Arcane base damage m = Multistrike % S = avg sting tick dmg (A+S+Sm2)(1+.72m) = Avg Damage per Cast Arcane Shot benefits from Multistrike at a rate of 2.26% increased damage per 1% MS, where as most abilities increase at a rate of .72% increased damage per 1% MS. Multi-Shot increases in damage at a rate of 4.21% per 1% of Multistrike.

Can we get an option for it to use explosive trap in AoE only? Another great feature would be having Black Arrow on focus target only...
How much DPS would I do with this thing If I have ilvl 630 Hunter whichever spec gives Most DPS. Planning to buy it in 1-2 days. So I need to know. Will eagerly wait for the reply thanks Forgot to mention, I usually use +100 Multistrike Food and Dranei flask (+200 agi).
