Two Questions!!

1. Should I edit the snipe price in WoWuction? Seems like it's a random price, and will it snipe the item if its below the snipe price?

2. Does anyone have, or recommend any good buying lists, that I could import? Particularly items that are selling pretty well. Thanks all!

 

there's a margin, and a few safety settings, but it's designed for popular, frequent trade items.

i.e. don't put recipes and flasks on unless you set it up manually, because someone could just undercut a crafted item by half because it's using old data, i.e. a flask from BC mats and the snipe will just follow percentages and profit estimates. and some people resell vendor recipes for 500g, etc.

if it's specific, check TSM lists, there's a handful of transmog lists if you're partial to spending hundreds of thousands of gold on transmog gear that never sells. your server might have a decent transmog market, but not all do. some people manage to set up arbitrage on various cross-realm servers by sending/trading items to alts, but it's dubious.

buy lists are generally server specific i.e. cloth is still a good "basement bargain" buy, as is ore and herbs below a "floor" value, usually 80s. that's what the custom buy is for, sniping the cheap stuff. however, every server has a different level of "cheap"

as for greedy not appearing, check the store page and see if the trial has expired or if you disabled/enabled it.

this is in Warspear, whic kind of fails to recognise mail locations.

Orgrimmar works better, but it also got stuck. It could be an addon problem as i also get a LUA error

Also, letting it run when it wanted to navigate, it went out to buy food from a vendor (profile related settings. sigh.)
and then got stuck trying to use an inactive mailbox in talador

Meh those are profile issues, but i can blacklist those specific mailboxes though. It only happens if Greedy can't find a mailbox < 100 yards - it falls back to cached mailboxes and those embedded in the default profile. For wars pear hmm..

In ur settings file delete the line that says <PriceSource>WoWUction</PriceSource>

 

At the moment - no. The GUI is not set up, neither is the backend.. And even if I did code them now - we have nothing to base the prices off atm.

 

Where do I find this file?

I think it's related to a coroutine that finishes the "sale" routine, and then tries to run the loaded profile. Removing the food/drink entry in settings should fix this anyway, now that i know what it was trying to buy/sell to vendors.

Not sure what's going on in warspear, because the AH, mailbox(s) and bank(s) are within closer distance than the alliance ones in stormshield, on their side of ashran. if it's caching them from the area, there might need to be some caching of NPC's and mailboxes while navigating the zone(s) where the AH is located. perhaps also a parking node to navigate to in the center of an auctioneer area to navigate cleanly from and to the bank/guild/mailbox/ah, in the case of larger cities. it seemed to get stuck in the goblin area of orgrimmar getting to the mailbox as a direct nav route. nitpicking, but it's the only time it worked well so far, or enough to leave it alone for 5 minutes without it dryhumping a mailbox.

(garrison AH trading post / Storehouse bank/guild bank support would be a good option too, possibly a quest complete check when in the garrison for those who are lucky/rich enough to have set up their auctioneer and a trading post / storehouse eg Auctioning for Parts - Quest - World of Warcraft and Auctioning for Parts - Quest - World of Warcraft for alliance)

the biggest issue rather than wandering off, is just getting stuck trying to get more items out of the mail. it became more usable in orgrimmar, but when i have 40+ sellable items and it loops picking up 1 item from the mailbox over and over, with 3 spots free in the bag, this seems to be a problem that requires a cooldown to prevent it checking the mail more than 20 seconds at a time.

I might delete the item DB, start again with only inventory items instead of preset items, and see if i can get it to cancel & repost items.

 

i cant get this addons to work at all. if i select TSM it says given file is empty and if i use wowuction it never updates and cannot find data file. what am i doing wrong?

 

Awesome! Seems ALOT better than salesman3 (Is that project dead or something?) already! Good job man! Looking forward to the release build.

However, for some reason am I unable to change the min and max vaules of items in the custom sell/buy lists after I have defined them the first time.
Nothing happens when I try to double click the column with the value in it. I have to go into the settings file, and do this manually.

This might be something that is not working as intended, or that you have neglected

Oh, and would have been cool if we could import auctioning settings from TSM (the addon) so that I can have them equal in both places. So when I don't feel like using the bot, I can still use the same pricing setup. But I would expect this to be a big bother to fix.

Here is a list of this that I think that you can have done wrong:

• Not added your wowuction API key (there are a link you can click on, that sends you to where you get it)
• If you get that message, it must mean that you either have not set up your TSM buying thingy, or you that you just don't have the TSM addon installed (that is a wow addon)
• WoWuction can not update if you do not have the WoWuction API key added in there. (This could probably also happen if you have exceeded your download limit from wowuction)
• The WoWuction data should update whenever the old data (previeous data fetch) is older than the defined hour limit (5 hours is default)

 

Which item is it trying to retrieve? Do u have special bags? E.g non normal? Hmm I'll have to check those quest ye

 

No log no help. Plus TSM is no longer available - so not sure how u select TSM.

 

Hmm it not being editable is a bug - for TSM imports, u can already import the shopping/deal finding lists?

I have not tested the shopping yet, since it's not something I've normally used. But I could get my self around to test it out later, for the sake of testing it out tho (unless you ment that it wasn't implemented, with the end of the reply).

Btw, is there a way to define the pause interval? like between 1 and 10 minutes or something. I tried looking for it, but could not find it (I could be blind temporarily tho).
And it seems like the bot won't check for uncercutted auctions and post auctions if I click "stop" and then click "start" again.
