Now I'm just running it normally and it ran in, stood at the beginning and asked for invite. Accepted, saw most of people were in stormshield, ran out of ashran and then back into ashran beginning, asked for invite, got an invite from the same person, ran out again... repeat multiple times again.
Good to hear that the author is working on a Vendor Run, this is really missing as the bot often ends up in red gear. Regarding conquest points I assume it is the group of people playing ashran. If there are many people concentrating on events the conquest points come rolling in. If everybody is doing mindless zerging you wont earn any CP. I had this several times, either got enough CP to buy a new item after some hours or having earned nothing after some hours. And if you are playing horde I can imagine you reach your cap very fast as they play very organised, at least on my server pool.
Today is the day I think. I ironed out some of the last bugs last night and I should complete testing today. If I am done today, the new build will be available tomorrow. Stay tuned, this shit just got A LOT better.
1) There is a setting in RAID tab that leaves the group if under so many people. Uncheck that or set the threshold lower. I am going to be adding LFR to this here next to solve the low numbers issue. (the code is already done, just need to test it) 2) The new update fixes this. It will no longer leave Ashran for players outside of Ashran. I also suggest not trying to help it, it should do everything on it's own, if it doesn't, I need to know about it so I can fix it so it does. 3) He goes to the ocean because he is trying to get to someone who isn't in his zone (they are most likely in their garrison). Again this has been fixed. 4) I am on a high pop one side dominated server which is why I cap in 10 hours as I am on the dominate side. My other side toons get rofl stomped if they try to do events. The LFR thing should hopefully fix this. See prior post. The new Event Logic should take care of the people going the wrong way. It announces events as AshranBuddy (sneaky sneaky) in a hopes to guide people the right way. As more botters come in that logic will become more and more valuable and move with pack will go to the wayside. But for now, move with pack is the best way. The new update will have the bot doing the events though instead of standing around on the mount.
I'm interested in this for gearing up alts. I don't do PVP and don't know anything about Ashran. When I look at the configuration options I have no idea how I would set them. Is it feasible for an Ashran newb to use this plugin?
Select Combat Bot as the "In Ashran Botbase" Then turn on raid broadcasting with what you want to say and it will do the rest. You do not need to configure it really. It will cap out conq for you with the basic settings that come with it.
For testing purposes you would not like me to use remade groups? I didn't know blizzard was adding ashran to a lfr type q. Ashran is kinda annoying, everyone want to do main raid even though you get wat more cp in events. Glad a lot of these issues have been fixed!
Is it me.... (probably is...) but it's not looting very often. On rare occasions it does but the vast majority of the time it just runs right but lootable dead mobs... am I doing something wrong or what..? I really want to turn in fragments...
That is fixed when i push the new release. It will also avoid loot if the group is leaving with out your toon =) Because it hasn't been released yet. I am not happy with the way it was doing Event's so I pushed back the release. It is taking longer than expected due to all the other things I am ironing out. I am trying to release something VERY stable so I can work on more stuff and not worry about it too much. This is why it is taking soooo long. I don't want to push out a half finished rev. I have further testing to do on the Events and I need to make the combat a bit smoother. I am being very diligent on it though. It is getting a lot of my time.
Did you see where the option was to promote someone else to lead if you get it? It is in the Raid Tab. I actually prefer to run as lead as it will actually manage the group better than most players. It kicks offliners and out of zoners which keeps the raid group healthy.
Why is that risky? A. You have the option of transferring raid leader. B. The plugin automatically invites and accepts others to raid.
I don't know anything about being a raid leader but I assume you might get some communication from raid members that you are expected to respond to.
The only time you get PM'd is when people want you to kick someone. As long as their group is full, people don't really care as far as I can tell. Give it a go and watch it, if you do not like it, check the box and it will pass lead off for ya!
Anything you do around other players *might* prompt some type of response. There is no way to avoid getting PM'd when playing around others. When you are in a raid you need to function as a raid member in the most human like way possible. Passing lead you may get a pm, being lead you may get a pm, walking behind someone you may get a pm. Following a group out side of a raid you may get a PM. There is no way to be invisible when playing in a raid type situation. The best we can do is try to eliminate what might get you a pm.
That is my point. I don't think walking behind someone or being a raid member is as likely to generate a pm as those other things.
