You can use Combat Assist do do all combat for you, all you need to do is move your character around and engage an enemy in combat. It's a nice feature and it takes the stress of focusing on your rotation off of your mind.
It's really up to preference, but for ninja - kupper dragoon - ultima paladin - magitek bard - kupper Those are the main ones i have found the best results with. I am not saying they are THE best, just the ones i have best success with.
Glad to hear my MoreDots profile is still being used. I'm currently working on Ultima's BLM profile and hopefully it'll meet/surpass what I did for MoreDots.
It's actually basically done. Right now I'm just having an issue with aura shifts. I was basing some of the logic off of when you have Umbral or Astral aura, but it seems there is an awkward moment in-between casting Blizzard and Fire where you actually have NO aura which confuses the logic. I was trying to avoid putting any WAIT logic in (because it's a tiny DPS decrease standing there waiting for the Astral or Umbral aura to reappear on the mob) but it looks like that's the direction I'll have to go (I've tested other methods like basing it on the last cast spell or on the player's mana % but they're much less consistent and prone to issues). In reality the DPS loss will be negligible but I always try to squeeze as much DPS out as possible when I can. I was also trying to optimize the MP checks to squeeze as many fires as possible out of each rotation but Reborn doesn't seem to currently support it (I made a thread about it so we'll see what mastahg says). https://www.thebuddyforum.com/rebor.../204942-datamanager-getspelldata-id-cost.html As for AoE not yet, but that and cross-class skills will come after I'm done with these last couple jobs (BLM needed an overhaul bad, NIN still needs a few tweaks but the logic is already sound). Speaking of NIN, I know you know NIN dps pretty well. How does this guy's rotation/DPS look to you? Did you manage to find out what was causing when you manually try to use skills/items like LB etc not activate until you keep pressing them? I am using your profile for ninja and while it works fine, it is kind of keeping me from doing raids due to you need to use LB at certain points etc. Some improvements for ninja would be an option to use fuma shuriken or not, what mobs to use fuma shuriken on and to use raiton if foe's requiem is up and you have the always use fuma shuriken enabled. It's basically helpful for people who really feel the mudra lag. It would be very helpful to have more options like kupper has, but i don't want to overload you with work lol. Good luck!
Regarding BLM and More Dots, if you've improved it in ultima thats great, with the lack of cross-class I have stayed away from ultima, along with lack of ability to change clipping times and such. Whatever you did with MoreDots is perfect, according to Pyro's spreedsheet(Damage Calculator for BLM. It always gets me to the maximum potential DPS that it gives me.
If you get any free time, try out Ultima's new BLM profile and tell me what you think (what could be improved). I ran into a few technical difficulties (especially since it had to be 1-50 capable, unlike my old Magitek/MoreDots BLM profiles) but tried to meet/beat their DPS. The cross-class stuff is a valid criticism and I'm hoping to start on that soon (I think Ninja needs a bit more TLC but after that I should be able to finally finish fleshing out the rest of the CR, provided Heavensward doesn't come out soon and make me have to start on 3 more Class/Jobs ).
