I hope I am allowed to post this here, but I am looking for someone experienced with Vitalic's rogue CR to assist me with settings up the best settings. So far I have changed a few little things, and tested in arenas. I like it better in arenas than TuanHAs so far because it is smarter, and keeps me alive better. It just doesnt go balls to the walls damage whenever. BUT, when it comes to BGs, it does much much less damage and gets a lot less killing blows. Any ideas? I am guessing it is because right now Vitalics tries to stay alive/be smarter/not burst every chance it gets, so I get a lot less damage+killing blows. I would appreciate the help. And yes I have asked on his forum over at another site, but the community here is great, and I'd prefer to ask here also. -Optimiztix
For the most part it's either kill or be killed with Tuanha. When the logic of "Oh shit..." hits the bot it can either run like a bitch or stand and fight. Most of the time routines check for target HPP for bursting and self HPP for healing. Tuanha does just that. What spec are you playing though? Also, have you set a keybind/value for bursting? If you manually burst it might stop running. My theory is that Vitalic's might not be bursting, and therefore running. If I'm out of things to throw at a player and notice I'm at a disadvantage I'd run and hide too.
It appears to me that Vitalics waits until the opponent is closer to dead, and I have enough energy/CCs, before it bursts. TuanHAs just bursts right off the bat, whenever. And goes balls to the walls with damage. Vitalics seems to try and conserve energy, and health as well, but in return in BGs I don't get near as much damage+killing blows. I was just wondering if there is any better settings for Arenas and BGs that I can throw into Vitalics CR. Just want to make sure I am getting the full potential of it.
I feel the same... Vitalic looks great but in arenas I can't do more than 600k damage and am starting to feel useless
I think that's fine. Vitalics is a good bot profile and I would like to hear if anyone else has this to tell us the secrets inside!
first off you're allowing a bot to control when you burst. You need to turn off auto burst and use the hotkey to control that. don't expect to use a cr full auto mode and get somewhere. overall damage isn't everything. there are plenty of hotkeys to set up in the gui so use them. the more you control manually the better off you'll be.
Ok so I made this little change. Added garrote and cheap shot macros to my invisible stance and its a whole lot better now. Any other tips?
Don't know what you're talking about. I made 2460 in 3v3 and 2.2k in 2v2 and I never ever player rogue before. I'm always close to top in dmg in bg's and I just oneshot people in Rbg's and ninja flags.
If you are only doing 600k with V's CR you are wrong. This CR is the reason I really want HB back up as It was the best and most fun that I have had playing the game in a long time. Also if you have questions about His CR I would suggest posting in His thread on His forum. He is always very quick responding and most people can help you there with out catching hate on these forums.
