I'm curious if there is anyway to expand the range of Fatebot, right now it only does nearby fates before going back to the Aether thingy majigger. Is there a way to make it run around the zone while looking/doing fates or better expand the range so it will pick up distant ones
It will only go to FATEs that fit the criteria you've specified under Botbase Settings. It will do any FATEs in the zone that fit those criteria. If there are FATEs in the zone it's not going to, it's because they don't fall under the criteria you've set.

Depends on the zone. Some zones won't have enough fates to go without stopping. I would turn down the Boss FATE setting from 60% to something like 5% maybe though.
I'm currently in Central Thanalan, I was reading on these boards to do (Alreport till 25 => Quarrymill till 32 => Costa del Sol till 42 => Coerthas to 50) however i am not sure how to get to each of these locations yet, I am still new and it will take some learning of what zones are connected to which and how to get there etc etc. Right now I just quested to 15 via your profile (much love <3 <3) and started up the fate bot. Mostly experimenting now as I get used to the game and the bot.
I figured as much, it works very nicely. I have used Honorbuddy, Archebuddy and Buddywing so far and this one runs about as good as Archebuddy which is very nice. Buddywing is a giant pile of steaming horse crap when it comes to bugs and stuff, luckily this one seems to be nothing like it. Very pleased~! Just need to get used to everything ;D
After extensive testing I am pretty sure that there is no way to customize the GUI to make it work. I have been testing it and monitoring it day after day and it seems to just ignore FATEs randomly. I know its probably not much help, but there is definitely something wrong (at least for certain maps).
Try running a the bot in Summerford and record the rate at which it completes FATEs and gains experience, and then go to Aleport and do the same. Even though Aleport should be much more experience for higher levels, it ends up being even less due to the bot skipping a ton of the FATEs.
It can't path to certain fates. The map meshes aren't always complete, so fates in some locations, like on the other side of narrow paths, will get blacklisted. You can check your logs when the fate spawns to make sure.
Yeah, that's what I figured. Kind of frustrating, because if it worked it would actually be a pretty good way to level. All the current ways to bot combat levels are so dreadfully slow.
What zones are you trying to fatebot in? Its always worked well for me; yeah it'll skip some of the fates, which can be worse in divided zones like costa, but generally speaking its still pretty efficient.
I've tried most of the mid level places. Aleport, Summerford, Quarrymill level zones. The only zone out of the 9 or so that works well is Summerford, except after like level 25 the experience is awful even though it does most of the FATEs. All the other zones have probably as 60% skip rate, and that is on top of FATEs not giving very good experience to begin with. I'm debating just making grind profiles now, since they work pretty flawless, even though the experience is still pretty awful.
hey today is 02*28*2015 time is 3.23 is FATEBOT broken atm it goes to the fate and it levelsyncs but it doesnt attack. this is since last update anyone ??
i tried with blackmage, paladin, warrior he will go to the fate he will levelsync he will target the mob but wont attack not even close range. with the war not even magic attach with the blackmage.
i´m leveling with this Combat Routine you can choose it at the start of rebornbuddy. works good for me. if you have any problems with istallation you can ask me
