That's great! One more I can cross of the list. Plus, from tomorrow they should all be implemented except for the last missing boss. I am currently testing my implementation of Mr. Terrible and co. It's a quite slow fight, but pretty safe. Requires Pandaren Water Spirit and Flayer Youngling. EDIT: It's now tested and working. There may be an RNG issue I imagine if Whirlpool crits and kills Mr. Terrible. But I don't have enough time to test it today :/ It is possible to get around this, by just delaying the cast of Whirlpool if Mr. Terrible is on low hp, but I'm gonna need to test some more next time.
King and Queen Floret today. Seems to work semi-alright. There are 3 possible scenarios it seems: 1. The enemy doesn't swap by turn 3, logic flees and restarts. 2. Things play out well, but the leveling pet is never brought into play and doesn't get any experience when we win. Even if the last enemy is very low health, we don't even try to bring the level pet in for a round before we finish it off. 3. Things play out just right and Pandaren Water Spirit dies just before "Whirlpool" pops off, and the game considers the leveling pet "in play" (since it's the last pet alive on our side, so it gets the 1.7k+ experience. Edit: Seems like it comes down to what Queen decides to cast in the final round. If the queen attacks (finishing off water spirit), then the leveling pet will get the experience when the whirlpool finishes the queen. If the queen decides to cast a buff on herself, the water spirit is not dead and delivers the finishing blow without the leveling pet coming into play.
No word from Raphus yet regarding the GUI. I know several developers are awaiting the update that adds support for this. I will let you know as soon as I know more.
Thank you for the feedback. This is something that I am aware of, but good to see that someone else came to the same conclusion. I will be on lookout for new and better tactics for this fight, in order to stabilize the success rate (the the success criteria being that the low level pet receives exp). In the meantime, I could maybe improve on the tactic, by swapping in the low level pet right before Whirlpool hits - but only if it has enough hp to survive an attack. This would at least improve the success rate for higher level pets.
6.1 Patch Note: Reduced the difficulty of quests to unlock the Menagerie, elite pet challenges and pet battle daily quests. I hope they didn't change them too much, as in breaking PokeLevel.
Today's daily is one you have supported so I'll be providing some feedback shortly using the test release of HB. While I'm thinking of it, there's also a new trainer here you could add support for.
First 2 fights went by awesome. Picked up daily, turned it in. As far as I can tell, it's flawless. I'll keep it going for a while. As an aside, the strat for today is hilarious. If we weren't trying to level a pet, the nexus whelping could solo all three enemy pets.
May have spoken too soon. My leveling pet is getting 50 exp per battle. Even the first battle only gave this much. I'm wondering if they nerfed the exp. I won't know until I check more fights.
Yeah looks like it was nerfed. I suppose the implementation is still worth it for the daily quest.. I'm thinking that moving forward, I want to implement more trainers (including moving to them) - so that basically this will eventually become a one-click botbase for doing all the dailies (or at least those with rewards). Luckily, I still have another spot in mind for levelling.
Dont work for me. Just fly and stop and nothing. No GUI. 0 battle pet done. I prefer https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/botbases/198180-bot-prosto_pets-battle-pets-4-1-a.html. Prosto free and work for me
Looks like that botbase is an entirely different use-case and scope than this botbase. Where were you when you started the bot? Where's the log of it failing?
In order to implement the pet battle garrison visitor's daily quest, I need the following info from someone playing horde: If you see 'Kura Thunderhoof' in the garrison, please note her ID (you can find it in Developer Tools -> Objects -> Units) Then also note which pets she has.
Information about Kura Thunderhoof Name = Kura Thunderhoof Wowhead Id = 91363 Faction = 35 [Friendly] Location = <5613.58, 4651.304, 142.4523> <Vendor Name="Kura Thunderhoof" Entry="91363" Type="Repair" X="5613.58" Y="4651.304" Z="142.4523" />
Thanks but I also need to know which pets she has. This is because she can have 5 different sets of battle-pets, and they just made a unique NPC id for each variation.
I am btw making a big structural change in the code, to allow for the GUI to be more structured, and contain a lot more information about different battles throughout azeroth once implemented Also, it should be easier to figure out if you meet the requirements for a fight with these changes.
not sure how to pull out the details of the pets, but i get Sprouts lv23 elemental(1356/266/251) (Lash, Call Darkness, Fist of the Forest) or (Poison Lash, Nature's Call, ?) Prince Charming lv23 aquatic (1397/218/232) (Water jet, Mudslide, Bubble) (tongue lash, swarm of flies, ?) Runts lv23 critter (1520/269/220) (Trample, Survival, Stampede) (smash, Trumpet Strike, ?)
I need the one for today aswell if anyone can get it. If you don't have her in your garrison, you can find someone who has and visit them.
I've implemented 3/6 of the new garrison dailies for alliance (1/6 for horde, but I just need the ID for the NPC since the fight is the same). I also know that my GUI should be supported soon by HB, so there's also a GUI coming soon, where you can easily see which fights you do have the pets for, and which you don't. EDIT: Also for non-beta testers: I am currently dealing with a problem where it will not correctly stop doing a battle in the garrison after the quest is completed. Once that's all sorted, I will push the current version to Release so you can enjoy all the Garrison goodies.
