Also, a request if I may, since I'm very interested in this plugin.. could you add MinReclaim quality percentage to the order section, and give the option to reclaim in your Strategies? I much rather attempt to reclaim and try an HQ craft again instead of getting an NQ that I cant do anything with :p

Macros won't ever get that complicated, they are meant to be simple steps. Strategies are where complex things go. For example, I managed to craft all 20 HQ items for my 40 dura lucis turn ins by using Black Lotus. Starry Night Miter is also good for 80 dura 3-4 star crafts. If you want anything more complex than a simple list of steps, it's best to make a strategy. Strategies are "combat routines" of crafting, so to speak; and in fact in terms of code they are written almost exactly the same way.

The reclaim support has been on my to do list for a while now, but just haven't gotten the time.

Is black lotus supposed to use inner quiet and byregot's blessing? I was trying to craft some 40 durability alchemy levequest items for a friend and it never used either of them. Does it expect me to have a certain amount of CP that I'm missing or something?

Yeah, it's supposed to use those. It's basically Starry Night Miter but for 40 dura crafts, with Manipulation instead of Master's Mend since it's more CP efficient. Did you cross class all the skills in bold on the original post for Black Lotus?

Yeah, I have 50 in all crafts and I made sure to cross-class all the listed skills. Strangely enough, it uses them both just fine when I try the same craft with hasty and kinky.

Ah yeah, after looking at the strategies in vs I noticed they were alot more complex. I was premature on asking that.. I should have looked at the classes for those first.. I've yet to use the botbase, although I do have it installed.. just havent had any 3-4 stars to craft at the moment. I cant wait to give it a try. Thank you much for the effort and work you have done with this.

I'm looking forward to the reclaim support. Thats about the only thing stopping me from using it with 3-4 star crafts.. but for the lesser crafts I will sure use it.. alot better than me manually making orderbot profiles for all my sb sets. lol

Just a heads up but you may want to remove the Cotton Yarn from the example file,

Started lvling WVR and when cotton Yarn becomes available you have not yet learned advanced touch, confused the hell outta me for a minute and realized the issue when i copied the example macro to make one for the cotton yarn...

      Code:
      Recipes:
        [s]- Cotton Yarn[/s]
        - Undyed Velveteen

      Steps:
        - Advanced Touch
        - Advanced Touch
        - Advanced Touch
        - Master's Mend
        - Advanced Touch
        - Careful Synthesis

I know support for these things can be significantly more time consuming then the actual creation so just wanted to give a thanks and keep up the good work :)

Well, I tried again today and all the profiles seemed to work properly in regards to using inner quiet and byregot's blessing. Maybe it was just some weird fluke or related to the particular craft I was doing. Oh well.

Another question, though. Should this try to finish a craft as soon as it can once quality is capped? I was trying to craft some things and getting full quality in about 20 steps, but it would always just keep going until there was no more cp and durability left to try any more before finishing progress, taking as many as 27 extra steps.

I have found that it will continue to do its rotation for quality even if its 100% if your CP allows it to do so, after it has no more CP for rotation it will fire off a finisher and then complete the craft.

      New Version

      - All three strategies now finish the craft when quality becomes full.

Please delete the example macro if you don't need it. It's just there to show you how they look so you can make your own.

So I've been thinking, it seems like all three strategies have the same idea behind them: Leave the craft one Careful Synthesis I/II away from finishing, then do Hasty until the time comes to finish with a big ass Byregot. The skills change a little bit from 40 durability crafts to 80 durability ones (like Master's Mend II -> Manipulation) but the idea is the same. So I'm thinking of combining all strategies into a single one, and adding some optional skills. Here's what I'm thinking, I'd really appreciate any feedback:

      Phase One
      - Goal: Leave the craft one Careful Synthesis I/II away from finishing.
      - Use whatever synthesis skills are most efficient to reach the goal (i.e. if Piece by Piece or Flawless Synthesis give more progress than Rapid Synthesis, use them instead). If Rapid Synthesis is the most efficient, always keep Steady Hands I / II up for it. Apply Inner Quiet. Once the goal is reached, move on to Phase Two.

      Phase Two
      - Goal: Get as much quality as possible.
      - Always Tricks when able. Do "cycles" of Hasty Touch and the most efficient "mend" ability depending on 40 or 80 durability. Keep Steady up, use Comfort Zone if "expected steps remaining" >= 8 so it pays for itself, on excellent use whatever touch ability gives you the most bang, then when CP doesn't allow for another mend cycle, do the finisher sequence of Innovation -> Great Strides -> Byregot. The finisher also has it's nuisances. If Steady has dropped, and CP only allows for either Innovation or Steady, it'll prefer Steady. If Excellent happens during the finisher sequence, it'll Byregot right there and then instead.

      Phase Three
      - Goal: Finish with one Careful Synthesis I/II.

Am I missing something? My ultimate goal is to make Lisbeth as general as possible, so you don't have to worry "how" to craft something, just let it take care of it. Strategies can be very complex, they are basically combat routines for crafting. The goal was always to make Lisbeth a better crafter than myself for the hard recipes, for everything else there's 100% HQ macros anyways.

Thats the idea of crafting pretty much, but I have two characters that are 4* Omni Lucis and tend to save progress for last, so Ill try to build up the quality as much as possible, do byregots killzone and finally just finish off the craft, if your trying to go for a "general" rotation tho, I'd honestly suggest doing something with Non-star crafts like: Quality -> Byregots killzone->Progress so we won't accidently complete the crafts in a single synth >.>

And for 1 star+ do what you have suggested in your post, but when I last tested your rotations on 3/4 star stuff it took WAY to many steps to increase progress, such as using 7-9 steps on Careful Synth II without ING2 just to get it 1 synth away from completion. Though if you add in using PBP if its better then I think that will work fine. Regarding Rapid Synth thats really personal prefrence so if you do add it, I would like it to be a toggle if Rapid Synth be used, cause if your not working on Master Book 2's, I find Rapid Synth to be a trash skill currently. Same would apply to Flawless Synth, its also a pretty useless skill unless your working on a aspected craft.

Hope this made sense lol, I have been crafting for a long time and do enjoy a solid way to automate the crafting of base mats and SB gear lol

My friend tell me Ingenuity/Ingenuity II is very useful when the recipe needs too many progress (though i'm not very familiar with these skill), maybe Ingenuity II+Careful Synthesis II is better than Steady Hands II+Rapid Synthesis?

BTW, a bug report, when i trying craft Mythril Ingot with Blacksmith, it will always change my job to Goldsmith unless I delete Goldsmith in config file (when I'm trying leveling my Blacksmith).

Hmm, alright. Now the question I would have is how do you know when to stop increasing quality, do the Byregot, and then finish the synth? As I see it, either way the bot would have to predict how many synth skills it needs to use to finish it, so as to know how much CP / durability to reserve for it. The synth can be done before or after, but I'm assuming prediction is still required either way, no? If prediction is too much of a problem, last resort is to implement a way for the user to specify how much progress under normal conditions each ability does for a specific recipe. Then prediction would be perfect.

And also, is Ingenuity II really used? I'm kinda new to crafting so don't know much about other skills, finished leveling all jobs to 50 last week and only got Lucis on weaver.

You can force a class without having to delete it from settings, just set it's field in the order itself. Look at the example order in the original post of this thread, it's set to Armorer there but you can set it to whatever you want.

Ingenuity is used very very very often, The only way you don't really use it is to have a fully melded crafter with lucis and have your off-hand melded with at least 16 craftsmenship or somewhere around there netting you 485~490 craftsmenship. Regarding how to progress, it is solely knowledge of 1 of 2 things or both. One being you know how many Synths it takes to finish a craft, for example I know it takes 2 Piece by piece + 3 Careful Syth 2's to finish any 4* craft. Second being you know how much each synth gives you at certain level crafts, for example my CSII gives me 70 progress without ING2 on a 4* craft, but yet 76 progress under ING2.

If you need/want in-detail explanations of each crafting skill and how its normally used or something let me know or PM :p With how your strategies are currently in the bot it often takes way too many steps to complete or goes about it in a very round-about way, but thankfully you let us do Macros :)

Thx! I forgot that I can set it in order.
And I realize Agil wont optimize mainhand when level up in crafting (other equipments are fine), I dont know the problem is in Agil or Lisbeth though.

Awesome plugin, thanks for the hard work.

Just a quick question, I was using the bot to make and item but to be able to make that item it needed to craft 2 items before hand. In the orders file instead of just listing the item I wanted I had to put in the items separate so that I could use different strategies. (So all items would be HQ) As I was doing this it wouldn't let me start the bot as it realised the last item didnt have enough items to do the craft. Is there away to make it calculate that it will have enough by the time it gets to that part of the order?

Yeah that's because it calculates what each order needs and checks your inventory at the start, without taking into account what the orders themselves produce. Currently there is no way to account for previous orders, I might give the option later on but right now I'm reworking the crafting strategies so it'll take some time.
