It's bought the item in that log - or did you do it manually? I see it looped a couple of times. It could fail if the vendor window had a filter on which hid the item you wanted to buy - i.e. you had Shadow spec selected, but you wanted to buy Disc gear.

Yes, it's better. A lot better.

I still do Ashran, but unless you're in a large group and on the winning team it's a waste of time.

Is there a way to ask for grp inv more than once at the beginning? Like every x min? But only if you are not in a raid yet.

It'll keep calling out for an invite until you get into the group - it does have an internal timer to prevent asking too often. The timer is randomized, so can be anywhere from 2 minutes to 5 minutes.

Yep. You may want to turn some options on/off under the BG Specific tab to focus more on doing events. Set up the chat options to make it get into a group too.

If it matters, this is the first time posting a reply to any thread and I am two weeks new to HonorBuddy. Please take that into consideration while I address my concerns/comments/questions.

Foremost, I am on the 1 day Trial version. Secondly, I am full 675 (PvP ilvl) BM hunter. Lastly, I have used this bot for about 12 hours as of now, observing 7ish hours of it's play.

Anyhow, the advertisement for this Bot Base mentions "1000+ Conqueror Per Hour", however I am getting 100-150 on average. I went through forums and changed some options upon recommendations for Ashran only and still getting 100-150 per hour. It farms NPC's accros a fairly wide range, but only does the one event at the beginning base if it is close. Doesn't follow party or leaders or accept Ashran que (must manually be accepted). That is just Ashran.

When it comes to Random BG's, I assumed that this Bot with extra features and options would "not" plunge itself into a 15v1 combat situation. However, it doesn't go straight into the masses like other bots do, but circles around some mountains and trees, then dives into the masses attacking plate. This bot does fairly well on two BG's that I have seen, those being 'Twink Peaks' and 'Eye of the Storm', it is strongly objective based and efficient in attacking enemy cap'ers. It almost does really well with 'Silvershard Mines' and 'Isle of Conquest', but falls short with SM by not attacking the tanks and grabbing buffs with no enemies in sight. IoC, falls short by picking up bombs, but not doing anything with them, in addition to not attacking Machines and staying in front of boat to attack, but not attacking and mounting to ride to the gates when enemies may or may not be there. Others like AV, WS, AB, ToK, SotA, I simply notice non-objective goal botting. I even strangely attack plate and blood dk's over healers and cloth in all events. In order of my opinionated priorities I see this bot attack, it goes; Warrior's > DK's > Hunter's > Druid's (Guardians/Feral) > Holy Paladins > Other's. Coincedence? I have no idea, but that is the pattern I clearly see. Not sure if it intended or not. I only address these observations/opinions because the advertisement for this Bot mentions "It wants to win games..."


I apologize deeply if the developers, writers, critics or fan-boys consider this a flame post, but with great respect I don't know how to communicate otherwise my concerns. I personally must be objective if I am to invest/spend my money, and as you can hopefully see I am taking notes and observing hours of AFK material in the hopes of giving it a fair and just opinion. I understand that nothing is perfect and "you can't please everyone" concepts, but again trying to see if the advertisements and shortcomings to them is worth that lump sum. I still have 10-12 hours of my trial. If some if not most of these dilemmas can be changed with options, please link a post or literally give specifics on what to change, and I will do them. I am greatly more optimistic than pessimistic and would love to give this bot a more in depth experience, please help me do that if possible. Thank You.

Ah sorry, forgot to mention that I manually bought and it after watching it to see what would happen.

I was playing disc, I had disc filter on and I wanted to buy disc gear and it still failed :s

Hey - I always appreciate feedback, be it good or bad.

I don't make this claim - it's misleading advertisement. You're confusing this with Phelon's plugin. You could get a lot more conquest prior to 6.1, but since then even on the winning/dominant team you're never going to get over 1000 conq an hour. On my server, my faction is the dominant one, and we win most events, so I tend to see ~500-600 an hour, and not much more when playing manually.

Shouldn't farm NPCs unless it's already dismounted and in combat with them. I'd need a log file with time of when this happened to look into it further. It'll follow the party by sticking with the largest cluster of friendly units in the party (rather than the leader). It accepts the queue invites, it just doesn't close the pop-up box. You can ignore that the pop-up stays on the screen - it has accepted it.

It does it's best to avoid large packs of enemy units, by diverting paths to take different routes around large packs of enemies, and constantly re-evaluating bases to see where is safe to move to. It does try to avoid imbalanced fights - but it would be incredibly difficult to completely eliminate it with a bot.

SM -> It'll just attack anyone that's in range of the targeting distance configured in the GUI, by default it's 60 yards. Grabbing buffs is done dependant on the type of buff, i.e. the berserker buff is only picked up if there's an enemy within 60 yards of you. Restoration buff is picked up if you're missing HP or mana.

IoC needs some work when it comes to attacking/defending vehicles. It's on my to-do list.

AV it attacks/defends towers - stands in towers until they've been captured. AB it attacks/defends bases - interacts with the banner flags and waits for them to be capped. ToK it grabs orbs to gain points, moves into the middle zone - attacks enemy orb holders... SotA it uses bombs to destroys gates and attacks enemy vehicles. That's the basic principles of what those BGs are all about.

There's nothing in there to prefer specific classes like warriors/DKs. You can set the targeting options to prefer healers / poor geared / low HP though. By default it just picks the first unit in the list which is pragmatically generated. There's no order to them.

Hmm can you try clearing all entries from the purchase list and re-adding them again? I'm aware some internal vendor stuff changed in 6.1 - potentially broken something.

Bot is working almost afkable good work.

What I noticed is that the bot will always release instant after a death. But if an event is running and e.g. 7/10 we would win in the next 2 mins and beeing dead while inside the event zone still grants the 100 CP and a box imo.
Hence it would be nice to have an option to not release if the bot is part of a running event.

 

I don't know what's going on with mine but since last night trying to use my Paid BGFarmer my toon just stands in one place and the bot continuously blacklists locations and won't move. Something that may need to be looked in to. I've had to revert back to using BGbuddy which is no where near as good. :-/

 

In Strand of the Ancients the bot sometimes just stops for long period of time doing nothing useful for the team. I think it just get stuck thinking about what to do.

Ashran:

Is there a way to disable looting of corpses from players and monsters for 1-2 artifacts each?
I disabled looting in settings and set loot radius to 0 but the bot will still dismount, leave the zerg, run into enemies just to loot this nonsense =)

Ok I think I found it:

Nope still looting mobs at least not sure about players.

 

Just an idea for Ashran moving:

The bot runs into the alli zerg while they have the task to get the last flag or kill the horde boss all the time. But since stages are well known it should be possible to let the bot move around those flags when active and to not use the bridge if last flag is under attack or the horde boss

 

Should i get this or Phelon's profile for Ashran? Anyone that has both who can comment?

Honestly, no. A lot of aimless running and doesn't do what's specified by bot.

 

atm no, its way buggy. Runs out of BG at times forcing reque, also some obvious bot behaviour where it zones in and out and in and out when it exits to the right of alliance keep look for a fight. Dont buy till you know its been fixed.

 

I agree it doesn't do Ashran well like it says and runs behind the allies jail and runs around in a circle until u get kicked and have to requeue......This bug has been around for months with no fix in sight sigh.....
