Good day, WoW Token Gold price has been leaked by reliable sources. They claim the WoW Token gold price will be somewhere around the value of $15 for 15,000 gold and going up/down as supply/demand sees fit. They are targeting a market that does not want to purchase from gold sellers, thereby making the most profit and not risk their game overflowing with gold. There you have it folks! WE ARE BACK IN BUSINESS
My only main question is can I use it for different accounts that I have on the same battle.net? Its going to be amazing soon for us. Thats all I know.
Blizzard went on a ban rampage lately. Selling/buying gold gets everyone who is connected banned 100% on first offense, can't appeal. It's crazy.
I heard it will be more.. On wowhead people are saying more like 80k per token. Also it won't be $15 it will be $20. They said on wowhead that blizz will add a extra few dollars onto the normal subscription price like they did for EVE. They saying more like $20 and will be worth anywhere around 60k-100k.
I dont see it going for more than 50k. The average wow player cant even hold onto that much. The market will crash with that much gold circulating. Prices on everything will raise to crazy prices. Stuff going for 100g will raise to 500g, I just dont see blizz doing that to the market. Some person did some math apparently and the prices will fluctuate between 25-45k based on the economy of wow.
the way blizz plans to work the tokens is to only give the gold to the buyer once the token has been repurchased by another player. its blizz just taxing the hell out of the gold market while providing game time which probably costs pennies. if it works, it wont be near as harmful to the wow economy than thousands of dungeoneers running 24/7 creating gold from nothing.
I think this is a good point as dungeoneers are huge problem for the wow economy. They sell most of the stuff they get in a vendor, and the gold ends up being redistributed to anyone with a credit card and a susan express account. At least with gathering no new gold is being added. If blizzard can tax gold out of the economy it would reduce the overall gold in existence which would be really good. It's really blizzard's fault though for making gathering professions and items so worthless in WOD.
Not true at all, mate. Most common behaviour was to ban the gold seller (correct), but to the gold buyer they frequently lecture him, slap him in the butt, threathen him with a 24 h ban, or if the Gm is in a horrible mood, deduct the amount transferred from the buyers account. Banning gold buyers? Thats completely new, obviously done to increase the fear factor in buying to gold sellers, and extremely good at doing so.
thats not true either. when you create something from nothing, whether it be gold or herbs you sell for gold, it adds to the + side of the ledger. There has to be enough entries in the - side to balance out or you get a surplus of goods/gold. When more gold/goods are present it affects the supply and demand ratio. more people have, the less they need, and the less they need to purchase. this is why we have 'gold sinks'. items put in the game to remove excess gold from the playerbase. this increases the value of the remaining gold because there is less to go around. back to tokens for gold. no gold is being removed from the game. blizzard is taxing the lazy and quickly moving to the Buy to Win business model.
Why would anyone buy a token that gives you 30 days game time for more money then what a game time sub costs. These tokens are gonna flop so hard Flubber will be jealous.
Some people only bot for gold to pay for subs so they can raid etc. with friends. Not everyone is in it to make money per se. I haven't 'paid' for gametime in i don't remember how long. Being able to just go to blizz and buy it with gold i got from botting to continue to raid will be nice.
because the tokens are purchased by legit players to trade for gold ingame. because as we all know, gold sellers are all terrorists, and anyone who buys gold from anyone other than Blizzard is a terrorist and supports terrorism. ofc.
