      Ultimate Fishing Profiles - Leveling, Farming, Grinding

      [IMG]

      All profiles contain a header with the information you need to use them - required teleports, set up, etc. They also include information on whether they are AFKable, etc. Please look over these before using the profile for the first time.

      NOTE: All of these profiles are for Order Bot, NOT Fishing Bot. Please be careful.

      WARNING! There is currently no method within the bot to equip bait for fishing, so you must do that manually. Within the 1-50 profile I've included what bait to use for each section, and a rough estimate of how much you'll probably need. Please check the profile for this information and equip/swap you bait accordingly.

      Required Setup
      This profile requires a special custom fishing tag I designed for Order Bot, fishing is not natively supported by Order Bot. The file to download is below, please create a folder in your Plugins folder called OrderBotTags (or something like that), and put the downloaded file in that folder. Your folder structure should look like: Rebornbuddy/Plugins/OrderBotTags/Fish.cs

      As an aside, this tag was written to accomodate all possible occurances. It supports stealth inherently, it supports multiple hotspots, it supports infinite mooches, it supports waiting for certain weather conditions, and it should automatically detect if the "fish sense something amiss" and move to try to get the fish to appear again.

      Leveling
      Instead of making many profiles for 1-6, 6-11, etc, I've created one master profile that will level you straight from 1-50. You can start this profile from any level, if you're level 37 already just load up the 1-50 profile and it will figure out the rest automatically. This profile should never require stealth to be on so it should be relatively speedy.

      Grinding
      Once you hit level 50 fishing, the next step is to upgrade your gear and then start farming the items required for your Forager's Hat, your Luminary Rod, your new Forager's Rod, and eventually your Supra Rod. These profiles make farming for the required items easy. Just turn them on and they'll take care of the rest.

      Gear
      View attachment Fishing_SilverSovereigns.xml [v1.0.0] - This profile will fish for 30 Silver Sovereigns for your Forager's Hat and your new rod.
      View attachment Fishing_OlgoiKhorkhoi.xml [v1.0.0] - This profile will either 2 HQ Ulgoi-Khorkhoi or 3 NQ Ulgoi-Khorkhoi for your Supra weapon.

      Quests
      By using the 1-50 leveling profile, you'll have a decent chunk of the fish required for the class quests. For the rest of them, I may create profiles to fish them someday, but for now please either fish them by hand or buy them off of the Market Board if possible. Thanks!

      Achievements
      After completing all the achievements, you can get the Rod of the Luminary, a rod equivalent to the rod you get from the level 50 Fisher quest.

      View attachment Fishing_Achievement_LaNoscea_V.xml

      Thanalan
      View attachment Fishing_Achievement_Thanalan_I.xml
      View attachment Fishing_Achievement_Thanalan_II.xml
      View attachment Fishing_Achievement_Thanalan_III.xml
      View attachment Fishing_Achievement_Thanalan_IV.xml
      View attachment Fishing_Achievement_Thanalan_V.xml

      This all should be pretty straightforward, but if you find any issues with any of the profiles or wish to contribute a profile, please just post in this thread. :D

      This is amazing, I wanted to get the achievements for fishing. Thanks.

      Have you any plans for a Gigant Clam profile?

      Maybe eventually. Haven't really done much with fishing yet, I made the 1-50 profile and got two characters to 50, but I don't have end-game gear yet so I'm working on that currently. I made the Sovereigns profile to help with that, any other profiles I create I will post.

      Great :) Infact I thought rather than just ask Id give it ago and try and create it myself if you dont mind me using bits from what you have posted above. Would it be possible to run it by you before I post it up?

      Of course. A convenient FishSpot generator for Reborn Console:

      Code:
      string location = Core.Player.Location.ToString().Remove(0, 1);
      location = location.Remove(location.Length - 1, 1);
      Log("<FishSpot XYZ=\"" + location + "\" Heading=\"" + Core.Player.Heading + "\" />");

      I wouldn't mind a profile for Gigant Calms either.

      I'm new to Rebornbuddy and it's profiles so I'm not sure how to make one for fishing Gigant Clams. What profile did you make?

      Thank you for the log.

      I'll try to fix it this evening, that's definitely not intended behavior but it's not bot-breaking either I don't think.

      I've been working on one and kagamihiiragi17 has been giving me "alot" of support as I am also new to making profiles! I'm testing it now, will hopefully have it posted up soon.

      @kagamihiiragi17

      Is there a way to create conditions for fishing that will allow you to keep casting in that area until the "fish sense something amiss" less than say 30 times threshold, then go out of the loop to create a different step point in a new zone?

      ie:
      <While condition="FishAmiss < 30">

      I have no tracking for how many times the fish sense something amiss. Why would this be desirable?

      It seems that once the "Fish sense something amiss" that area will no longer be fish-able until you out fish another area in a different zone.

      This happens to me often when I am fishing up Silver Sharks and Hammerhead Sharks for Shark Oil. It would be nice if we can put in a condition to determine when the fish are amiss for a while in an area, at that point we would know that the area is completely spent of fishing, then we travel to a different zone and do the same thing. of course we would have to have the capability of changing the lure/bait from our tackle box.

      As it is right now, I think the addition you made to OrderBot with fishing is great and would be even better if we could have more options with fishing. Thank you for your hard work!

      Well when your fishing for long periods of times, you can start at Spot 1 and fishing for a few hours, then move 10 meters to the side to point B and fish again for a few hours, and go back and forth between these 2 spots for a while, but eventually the ENTIRE map will be hit with a fish are amiss message, when this happens you must teleport/go to another zone and fish just once, then you can come back to Spot 1 and Spot 2 and keep fishing there until it happens again.
