      Hi forum.

I am certain that this question has been asked many times, but I have not been able to find it (and yes, I used the search function), and I am in quite a hurry.

So the question is: Is HB/GB usable on a Mac computer with the OS X?

      Thanks in advance.
PS: Please refer from flaming this thread as nothing good will come of it :)

it requires .net 3.5 (and hopefully 4.0 soon) which i believe is a windows based function. so you would have to emulate windows on your machine (which has been discussed for L / unix)

Would it be possible to run it through CrossOver? I belive that is a software that makes the Mac comp able to run some Windows programs...
I am no Mac user, so forgiver me if I am wrong (I am asking from a friend, who is considering buying it)

tell him to invest $200 in a cheap computer that can run wow, less hassle and he can keep his mac (haha a mac) for whatever he does on a mac (a big paperweight imo)

I don't have an answer to your question, sorry I'm not big on macs. (haha a mac rofl)

Maybe chinajade knows, she (he?) seems pretty smart

      Necro'ing old threads FTW!

On topic: Thank you a lot - this was exactly what he was looking for! He's now running bots smoothly (though Fusion takes up a shitload of space!).

I run HB / GB on a mac using bootcamp. It is the most effective way to do it. Until the new NET comes out.

I agree to a certain point. Like UNIX - hate many of the technical issues I have had with Linux..

I know that OS X is UNIX based, but I simply don't like their GUI.
