This will give Blizzard an idea of just how MANY people bot and how much it would lose with a real *****-down. Money talks and I doubt they will ever ban all these paying, botting accounts.
Only problem being, in my eyes at least 50% to 60% (probably more) of those people would re-purchase wow, meaning a huge influx of money to blizzard, like 4 months of subscription worth. They've done it in other games with ban waves and it worked , diablo2 diablo3, the botters would just buy new copies because it was worth it. So I don't think that's stopping them, not to mention that they are actively trying to shut honorbuddy down legally, so these arguments don't hold up given all that.
You miss the point that thousands of people would just not resub, if they cannot play with botting, for tons of reasons. About the court trials, of course they will sue any noticeable botting company, they have to deal with their shareholders. So there is no excuse in the shareholder's eyes, if they do not sue the botting companies. These shareholders would loose much more money if Blizzard do ban all the botters, instead of keep them "moderated" only.
Imo they just ban botters to 'keep it clean' for the real players who pays a 13$ sub/month to play this game. But they are aware of how much money the 'hardcore' botters give them, and that's why you only get banned ater a week or so, just to give you enough time to make it worth it to buy new accs and bot again. If they wanted to, they could ban all of us buying RU accs and RAFing them to suicide gundrak within a day, but it has not any financial interest. Say the average 'high end' player is using two blizz's services a month, that makes 13$ sub + 2*20$ = 43$/month Now the hardcore botter who uses 20 RU accs that cost approx 3$ each and get banned every week = 20*3*4 = 240$/month Cause I'm bored I made this little calculus, let's say based on 100 active players, 5 are hardcore botters the others 95 are regular : - 95 * 43 = 4085$/month - 5 * 240 = 1200$/month Let's get this in percentage : -Regular player = 4085/5285 = 77.3% -Hardcore botter = 1200/5285 = 22.7% Even if hardcore botters are only 5% of active players, they're still worth 1/5 to 1/4 of how much blizz earn each month with WoW (not counting the sh*itload of fresh battlechest buyed only to sell the farmed golds). If i can figure this out, I think Blizzard already did ages ago. TL;DR - I think they already knew who keeps making them rich
Any ideea where to get those RU cd keys from or how? Now that they ban MoP Dungeonfarming within 4-5 days i would like to cut the costs of accounts, last transaction of this sort got me a -30$ in my pocket, 10$ - 1 acc >.<
Simply make a bnet account with Russian Federation as country. Create a starter account, then use a russian proxy/socks/vpn (If you don't have a russian IP you won't see price in RUB), and paste this link in your navigator : https://www.guidesfrom.us/wow-battlechest It will lead you to the upgrade to full account on the shop, with 50% off wich is 179RUB (approx 2.7EUR). It's not like it's a secret, it has been posted numerous times over there or other WoW hacking related forums If your bank charges you for transactions in foreign currency (like mine does, 1EUR per transaction), your best option is either to load some bnet balance to buy 5 accs at once or register a webmoney account if you want to keep one license per bnet account. Btw, those two options grants you with a fully working battlechest out of the box, you don't have to wait ~24 hours before restrictions are removed.
This pretty much I think number can be higher what not, they have great success and they know who to ban, take for instance me.. 4 previous accounts perma bans no previous warnings no chance in appeal, even got threaten that my tickets won't be read and just going to be deleted. Now purchasing stuff back maybe extra lvl 90 boost or so, the money alone they got from me is what average joe could keep his sub running for many years
Banwave before tokens, Tons of botters buy new accounts at the same time tokens are being bought. Makes the token thing look like a success.
There's never "enough money" when it comes to companies. I'm sure the buddy team will tell you the same if it were to be 150% honesty. I will bet you that if they ban all the botters, only the people who are grounded and don't have their hands on mommies card are going to be back in the game the same day, evening, or night, leveling up a brand new character.
If we were to keep it real, every single person who says "im leaving wow forever" or "im baned time to quit wow for good it was fun" are actually lying. They are going to be on WoW a week from now when they realize they threw their RL's away for this game lol. Unless they bot: This is where your friends still know what you look like because you're with them always. TL;DR if Blizz banned EVERY single subscriber, including botters, their numbers would be back up in the morning. BILLY MAYS GUARANTEE. We know it, they know it, our great grandparents and their grandfathers know it.
I completely disagree with you and can't imagine the addictive mindset one must have to think this way. WoW, if we are all truthful has gotten pretty boring and mundane (ergo, in many cases, the bot for boring and mundane tasks). I think the main reason a lot of us play is because we HAVE invested so much time, money and effort into it. Once gone, who would be dumb enough to sign back up for that from scratch? Now, if you bot to make money, or really have nothing better to do, then in these instances only, I imagine it is a different story and no matter what, you'll be back.
I only play now because of the money and time I have put into the game. If i was banned now i doubt i would ever re-sub.
