Nice, by "machines" are we talking VMs or physical hardware (feel free not to answer if you'd prefer to keep some things private)? Either way I actually hope you are providing RMT services (indirectly or otherwise) or have the income to be able to do this for shiz and giggles because that is quite the investment :). There are some special clients out there that basically run a headless form of the game (i.e. no UI) but afaik that doesn't exist for FFXIV so you'd just want to crank the settings down and use multiboxing (which I assume is what RebornBooster does although I have never tried it). I don't have a personal desire to engage in mass botting (mass to me being any more than 1 instance that you just mess around with) but I find it all very interesting on a technical level (edit: plus ofc have respect for people like you who are actually out there in the thick of it; thanks for sharing what you have BTW, you could have easily kept ALL profiles to yourself).

Each "Machine" is its own computer, 8GB DDR3 RAM, at least a quad core intel, decent video card to get 30+ FPS on all 4 clients at all times, and a SSD for the OS+Game+Bot. Currently I don't provide RMT services, I do this for my own horde of gil/ponies/items/etc. Botting is my hobby so the money I spend on it is fine, nothing outside my means of living and I have fun with it. I find reborn buddy great for almost everything and for things that it can't do I either use another bot to do it or I do it by hand. As far as rebornbooster, FFXIV won't let you run more then 2 clients at a time, so its just a program to "trick" it into not seeing all of the copies you have running. At some point in the future I may sell to RMT services but who knows, their /tell spam pisses me off lol

Nice, didn't know that it limited 2 clients per machine, nor did I know there existed a multiclient. :p
IMO, in the past when I bought in game currencies, I would never buy through tell spammers or shout spammers. Just find a way to hit top results on google and you'll get a large base of people, big issue is going to be your server availability, you may be better off selling it to the RMTs for petty amounts, honestly. Most of them buy and resell.

This is wildly off topic here, but, on the topic of enjoying botting.. I thoroughly enjoyed botting Conquer Online, however, it's always been pay to win, and long since then it turned into a piece of crap.

Cool to see you're super committed to large scale, though! :p

I used to buy my fair share of in-game money as well through RMT services but found that having my own bots nets me more money and more fun in the process for less money, so its a win-win in my book. I have also large scale botted ArcheAge and WoW(Ban rates too high since MoP to be worth it unless your full scale selling gold yourself)

      You sure have an expensive hobby! 8*4= 32 * 12$ = 384$/month

But hey, if you like it! Congrats and keep on going =)

More like ~300$/month, like I said in another post "SEARCH" :p I can find my game time for under 10USD per month sometimes, at worst I pay like 10.11 USD per month per account. I also run all my bots under EU keys rather then US keys, cheaper and had really good luck botting this way.

kagepande, I do use the search function very often. But sure not I will use it to find out about your post where you mentioned your exact costs for ffxiv ;)

Wasn't referring to the forum search function, was meaning google, to search for better deals on game keys and time cards :) Instead of just buying it right up from SE themselves.

Very nice; said friend that had multiple copies of FFXI running (I want to say 8 on one machine at once but that doesn't sound right/possible) and he did it for his own enjoyment too. Everyone hates the tells (lol we need an "opt-out" service but those never work anyway) but I was thinking of possibly selling your goods to an existing RMT system - they would probably lowball in terms of profit though. My main hobby is art related shtuffs and that costs me anywhere between $50 - $500 a month (sure I get some of that money back if I go to sell something but my main job lets me have this hobby and I think yours is just as valid). Plus, I don't think I will ever grow out of the enjoyment of "breaking" systems built by other people (I stopped messing about with hacking governments/private companies when I was in my mid-teens and people started to get real jail time and such but this kind of stuff is just fun :) ).

I would have to agree, if I do sell my gil it would be to a existing RMT place, and as far as hacking, I did the same thing, and found that botting + programming for said bots keeps that desire at bay and fulfilled.

Just for future reference for users.

Game keys start from about $10
Buy Final Fantasy 14 A Realm Reborn CD KEY Compare Prices

Game time usually hovers around $24 on average.
Buy Final Fantasy 14 A Realm Reborn 60 days Gamecard

I would just like to say from mining alone on a single bot, I make around 400k-900k a day (Factors like time, demand & market price all play their part)

If someone cares to share their source (via PM if needed) for US game time cards for that cheap (most cheap places I find are out of stock all the time), that'd be great. ;)

Not gonna find very cheap US game time cards :) Most ones that cheap are for EU accounts, hence by everything but my main is an EU account.

Its like stocks slightly, First few weeks after a major patch/expansion prices will be very high, then after there hasnt been any updates in a while the prices fall, etc.

Did you pay $20 each for all of your accounts, or did you find a deal somewhere?
I see accounts for sale online from time to time for as low as $15. The next time, I think I will grab an account specifically for botting.

I bought mine for 8 euro. Just check sites like allkeyshop.com for current prices.

Just google and you can find great deals including for gamecards.

Idd prices for stuff on the market have dropped hard. Everyhing stills sells but making way less :)
