So it looks like from reading numerous posts that CRs are the culprit. I've heard that SimCraft will almost immedietly get you a ban. So for this topic those of you who did get banned using CR's which CR did you use regularly? Those of you who did not get banned (like myself) which CRs did you use regularly? Hunter - TuanHA Paid / Glad Suite Mage - Portal Shaman - TuanHA Paid Rogue - Vitalic Paid Paladin - TuanHa Paid Druid - TuanHA Paid Priest - Don't have a CR for priest, played manually. Only level 50+ Monk - TuanHA but only level 30+ but I have played recently with my monk. Warrior - Glad Suite I have not been banned, never had a suspension, or a warning and am not flagged to my knowledge. I mainly Do Arenas with an occasional RBG / BG. What's your story, did you get banned using just a CR? Which one were you using? Post details, and lets pinpoint what's going on here.
I'm not even sure what Simcraft is, aside from some program that measures your DPS from what you should be getting? I'm not sure exactly. I just read a post in a ban discussion stating that they used it, and was banned a few hours later. Regardless, the point of this post is to pinpoint if a specific CR is causing the bans. I'm positive the honorbuddy.exe is not being detected, but a profile (CR) might possibly be.
Simcraft is a raid botbase you can take the loadout from simcraft program and plug it directly into a combat routine essentially, doing max dps for your toon specifically.
You're an idiot I pushed 90 percent plus every fight with these far from max DPS simcraft lists I'm banned used it and almost only it for the last three weeks raiding
seems Taunha and Leaves routine is getting the most traffic right now on the CR ban front. I think both those routines print to chat or have the ability to (just speculation on my end). even more speculaton is I still a lot of people posting just CR's in their ban reports but I still see them with posts in the garrison bot threads so who knows really.
Just thought i would put in my two cents. I use tuanha daily for around 15 hours a day botting. Im pretty sure that the CR thing is a coincidence at least at some level just because tuanha is so popular and many many many people use it and are unwilling to pay for a routine. I really dont think tuanha has any correlation to this. Not saying other CR's dont, but im just saying theres no way to definitively say its a certain CR.
I've been using TuanHAs CR with Enyo since MoP, no ban here yet. I'd say it's just investigations that have received procrastinated bans. Read a few posts where they haven't botted in 2 ish weeks et.c.
Its easy for me to see whos a botter when im in a lfr raid. 1. Remove a buff and watch whos buffed you directly. 2. (Tanks only) Pull a group without Pulltimer or rdy check and watch the healers. If the healer instantly target the tank you can be sure its a bot. 3. Watch for the guys in the raid. The most Cr has an Movement option. You se that when a bot walking. 4. Interruption. The boss cast a spell and anyone in the raid directly kick it in 0,1 sec. 5. Watch for guys whos use the cooldowns for a trash group. (shaman Firetotem z.B.) Tips 1. Disable Movement. 2. Disable Targeting 3. Disable Interuption. 4. Disable Cooldowns when you fight a Trashgroup. (Most of the Cr has an Option to configure Hotkeys) 5. When your Cr has the Option Chatoutput. DISABLE IT. 6. Disable Autobuff Last but not least: Paused the Routine when you go afk. (my girlfriend go to the toilet and write it into the chat. Tank pull a trash croup and the cr fight when my gf was on the pot^^) 3 days later BAN. mfg
And i know a guy who has 99% on every boss playing by hand, and he makes mistakes. You've only confirmed my point.
I had a 3 year account get the 6 month ban on a first infraction - and I was using only Kicks and GarrisonButler. No CRs. No dungeons. They clearly stated that my account was detected using Third Party Applications - though they would not specify what. They also seemed pretty confident about the detection. So - I can't explain what they are detecting - or when they are scanning. But I can assure you it is not merely CRs.
Go play by hand than hand LoL this is a bot forum and "Simcraft Botbase" flat out performs best "here on the forums".
Unless there is something new called simcraft. This program has absolutely nothing to do with botting. It doesn't even do anything for you in game.
The tips are good, but a couple of the indicators above as these things happen with approved addons. 1. SmartBuff will immediately re-buff a single individual who doesn't have the buff. 2. Various healer addons always have the tank targeted. 3. Movement is not a reliable indicator of a bot as it will often stand in the fire longer than a person would. 4. DBM indicates when a boss should be interrupted -- can you really tell that the interrupt happened in less than a second? 5. Using a CD for trash is merely an indicator of sloppy play, just as likely from a player as from a bot. Using Heroism or a major CD like that on trash, that's a dumb-bot. I agree with disabling those things, however, just because they can get you into trouble in the raid such that someone will notice. I don't think CRs themselves are to blame for the various bans. I doubt we will ever know exactly what Bliz has flagged. And if it was one definitive thing, everyone doing it would be equally banned. There was no logic in banning my one account when I've been doing the exact same thing on all 5. Maybe a player report, but that's unlikely because on that account I did not group with others or quest. Banning me like that merely created a more determined botter.
