OK, so here is the deal. i use grinding bot to grind for 665 epics to sell on AH (have made over 400K doing this over a duration) anyways, You will also pick up lots of BOE greens while doing this. Ill run for about 6-8 hours sometimes longer. last night, i ran over 6 hour, didn't get stuck, didn't die, just continued to grind. i didn't pick up 1 BOE... Is this even possible?? Does Blizz know what I'm doing, and moderating my loot drops? this has happened before also.
they got some algorythm (maby less chance from same mobs). Nothing more, just random Dont think they able to moderate every character even 30% of them
Last days are paranoia days? Yes they monitor your loot, have access to your webcam and everything else. Come on do you really think a human will monitor a couple of million gamers loot table? It can be that they have a script checking such things but hey thats speculating and makes no sense here at all.
How do you farm an area for hours upon hours, and not pick up at least 1 BOE green? I do this all the time and have NEVER seen that happen. for some reason, my loot has been decreased dramatically. I'm at the point where I'm pretty bored with WOW, and am really pushing my limits with the bot to see what Blizz will allow. I have over 600 BOE greens, used to pick them up like crazy, and it slowly became less, and less, and now none.
Bliz checked kill\drop stats for that type of mob\mobs and nerfed it, or maybe nerfed your farm spot. IMO that's all...
the 665 epics only have a .1% drop chance and are purely random i have farmed 12 hours a day for 3 days with out one dropping then 3-4 will drop in 3 hours it is weird i run 2 toons farming mats and looting mobs every day and i get about 5 a week
RNG is RNG, it's as simple as that. I've had plenty of occasions where with the same profile I got lots of greens, almost none, and lots again.
They wouldn't waste their time modifying your loot. If they had proof of you of using HB they would of suspended/banned you by now or atleast tested you(Moved your Toon else where to see how it reacted while you were sleeping). Its all random based upon the area your grinding and a few other factors.
I have done a stint of farming epics in nagrand as well. While the Epics have a .02 chance or whatever it is....the greens actually have the same percent drop chance, there are just a dozen or so greens while there are only 1 or 2 epics that drop. So the odds of getting the drop are the exact same per individual piece, but the odds of getting a green are much higher since there are several of them. So if you understand percentages, then it isn't so unreasonable to think you didn't get a drop. Although it is pretty unlucky...it is possible. Did you also consider the possibility that your bags got full and you vended the loot?
i farm wolfes for fur (and maybe just maybe a epic) But after more than a month i never saw a epic drop. About green, sometimes a few or a huge amount but i never saw none greens. Maybe your toon just sell it.
It's definitely RNG man. My main cannot get bonus roll to save his life in raids. but my dk and mage alt... I'll be damned if they don't get every bonus roll I throw out on them.
Haha! I have grinded lvl 99 mobs and got an epic after 25 hours in total. Don't complain because you didn't get one in a session lol...
