I am currently botting on a battlenet account that already has a banned license. 1.) Is this a bad idea? 2.) I also want to make a 2nd bot on another license, should I make another battlenet account to do so, or just continue on this same account Looking for knowledgable replies, thanks! I read somewhere, from a ex-professional botter/coder, that it didnt matter if you multi botted on the same account, that it was all luck Even so, looking for some insight. thanks fellow buddies
in my experience it dont matter if one on the bnet is already ban, when they ban an account on a botted bnet they only ban the one that was reported / suspicious not all the accounts on the email. also with a fresh account it seems blizzard monitors them, all my dungeon buddy accounts get ban quickly when they are on a fresh email, but when not on a fresh they are fine
I have 5 authentic paid licenses under 1 battlenet account and one of them just got a 6-month suspension. I was multiboxing them from time to time (about once a week), putting them in a group and running them with Dungeonbuddy to level them up and create a bit of gold via guild dungeon challenges for the guild I made for them. However, I cannot be sure why the one account was suspended and not the others. 3 of the 5 were online during tripwire, including the suspended license. I've been a pretty careful botter, 100% babysitting the bots, not running BGs, PVP or arena, no auctions, no extensive farming, only online less than 3 hours at a time. But even with all those attempts to reduce my exposure, that one account got hit. Maybe just bad luck. I think it's *probably* safe (though no botting is ever really safe) to use HB on the other accounts but I'm not taking that chance. I have no idea how Bliz links those accounts, or if the others are somehow already flagged. So to protect my main account (one of the 5, over 15K achievements points, one I don't want to lose) I have created a new battlenet account and am using the bot on that one. It has a separate email address, name, the works. When I get the characters in that one where I want them, I'll create a couple more accounts and do the same thing. And because Bliz has ticked me off now, banning me at all, I am going to maximize botting on my new account(s). Soon I'll get back to the state where I can multibox accounts again, which I find a fun challenge thanks to HB CRs. As others in the forums have said, don't bot what you can't afford to lose. And bot on!!
I have 1 bnet account with 3 accounts... account 1 has been banned for about 3 years account 2 is running and botting and has been for about a year account 3 just finished the free month and is currently not active.. I will activate this account if/when account 2 gets banned.
1 person gets banned after just learning to bot on a fresh account, another person has botted over 150 accounts and nothing ever happens. Just like american justice there is no justice, there is nothing but luck.
awesome insight, so you keep your main license clean, and instead made a new bnet account for your 5th bot i wonder if having a clean license, just to send your botted gold to would be safe, of if it would be linked since its receiving gold via mail from a bottign account and if its worth the sub fee to just be a gold mule

My personal experience is: Main account got banned in wotlk through luaninja, made a new one on the same licence and botted that one hard and got banned at the start of cata through pirox archy ban. I then made another account on the same bnet in cata and went at it hard, botted every grindable rep/achieve, all pvp achieves/hk grinds, conqueror and such, every class at max level, plenty gold, just leaving the bot on for days at sometimes to grind whatever it was (conqueror for example was a massive grind, leaving it on for days at a time) In the end i ended up with a 20k+ achievement account, which far surpassed the first 2 accounts. I then got both those accounts back last year by mistake, recieved loads of old feats of strengths when i logged into them because i'd kept the same bnet, i was really happy. I transferred my old vanilla main to my newer account incase they got rebanned. A week later my newer account got banned in the pqr wave so i lost my vanilla main again Didnt really give a shit at this point as everything is shared on bnet and im currently on the same bnet playing on one of the old mistakingly unbanned accounts.
