hey guys new HB/GB user here. me and my mate recently purchased lifetime to level farming chars. i was on my way to SW to pick up my mining pick and skills ( level 60 atm) and left myself there while i went to eat my dinner, i come back 20 mins or so later and noticed my game had closed?. i tried to login but it said details were incorrect. i checked my email account and did not recieve an email about my password being changed. is this a GM doing this? from past experience ive been hacked once and the hacker had deleted all my gear/ i had lots of password changes. my characters gear on the bot acc is fine and nothing has been touched. i logged back in and my friends account was still botting away while hes been at work then suddenly he goes offline? i know he isnt at his computer and this may be a DC but it seems rather odd. do u think a GM has caught on to us ?? note: i asked one of my mates and he said one time he couldnt log in and he though he had been hacked as it said his details were incorrect so he left his acc for a week and when he tried again his acc was working?? appreciate any suggestions/help
thats the thing i didnt get an email... litterally just stopped in SW, went to get dinner, came back 20mins later, game was closed tried to log in, details incorrect??? did forget password retrieval and i can log in my account again. just curious as to what may have caused it or if anyone else has experienced it. im thinking it may be a GM who has been watching me. p.s i had been using ur profile kick and was currently level 62 and had just purchased BC.
if you can, change your password, idk how well you know your mates, but maybe there just playing a joke on you and changed it. one time my friend left to get some food so i got on all his toons and stripped them down bear, and logged him out, when he came back it was quite funny. so if its only saying "Login Details Incorrect" then change your password. and remember not to pick someone you already use.
nah its not my mate, its a fresh account and only i know the password. im certain its not a keylogger aswell. it just said the details entered was incorrect :S ive logged back in the account now and all is fine but its just the thought of why it actually closed by itself and the password had been changed WITHOUT recieving an email about it which is playing back in my head
That's halarious cng!! haha and OP, someone may be in your account. reset pw and try to log into b.net. if it lets you in, check your account info, it will say "playable, frozen, banned" or something like that
Just did that mate, i changed the password and i can login as i said before and on the battle.net page its currently just saying Status Active (Expires: 14-Jan-2011 21:23:23 GMT) Current Game Time Source Free Month Product Level The Burning Crusade Standard Edition p.s. ur grinding profiles are awesome kickazz btw when running with instancebuddy really dont understand whats happened :S also when u get hacked and when someone else logs in it disconnects you from the server and will go to the login screen and give the disconnected message which i never had as my game had randomly closed which leads me to believe it either may just be something fucked up randomly or a gm killing the wow process and changing my password and they just havent sent an email saying they have done so?
