Lunkers

Added in to both Alliance and Horde to fish up 5 Sea Scorpions and will turn them in as well

Yes that is a total of 35 Lunkers, for those that are counting.

SVN for both have been updated

 

After my honorbuddy reaches the location to fish, it always stucks at "PB: MoveTo Action completed for type Location". Then I will have to stop the bot and go into Bot Config and reopen AA. Is there a way to solve this so the transition between AA and QB without manual restart? Thanks. And the new SVN does not have the new profile yet for what I checked.

 

I'm looking into a way to see if I can get around without using QB, will be some trial and error.
The sea scorpion profile is in the Blind Lake Lunker for Alliance and in the Fire Ammonite Lunker for the Horde

Running it now, seems solide, thanks for the work.
I did pay for one other way not as compleate and working profile for the coins.. This seems better and would have paied for this one instead, if it was on the buddystore.

 

Thank you for the kind words and I would never put this in the store. Main reason is I have used profiles that were free and I tend to give back the same way the best I can. Just looking to help the community and not myself

Why are you using AutoAngler in this profile? It has been renamed to FishingBuddy and is now included in the distribution (v778 Release Notes)

 

Fishingbuddy just came out and wanted to make sure it was bug free. Will be switching the profiles over to fishingbuddy this week

 

Chill, just noticed it, love this profile, and is working great with AutoAngler2LTR. And the missing support for Draenor items I added.

 

I've been getting really inconsistent results between fishingbuddy and using the Questing botbase, but these scripts and profiles work perfectly. This tight level of control through the scripts is much preferred to the random vendor and mail runs I was getting from other botbases. Thanks for your work, Osqui.

FishingBuddy added into the SVN and the Zip files.
If you wish to still use the ver. 1.7.3 it will still work if you still have AutoAngler2 but will not support if AutoAngler goes out of date since FishingBuddy is the same thing just repackaged and updated by HB

 

I'll give these a run, and report back with errors if any. FB seems to just have certain strange behaviors from my personal experience with writing profiles for it. Thanks again for the support!

 

Hello, narcnarc just pointed this thread out to me. I have tested it with FB and I noticed that it errors out when running the flight path files. I believe it is just a over site but the names of the profiles in the flight path files are still PB + AA and not PB + FB. After manually fixing the paths designated in the FP to blah blah files it all seems to be running just well and dandy. Thank you for the profiles and inadvertently the lesson on how to get the files and bots to work in tandom.

Edit: Fixed the zip files to use the correct flight paths
SVN's were unaffected

 

Great profile. I've used it for a week or so now. Really like it. I modified it manually a week or so ago to use Fishing Buddy - but will download the new one and give it go.

 

I tried out FishingBuddy, but I just don't see the benefits? AA gave us more control over baits and the bladebone hook, while you need plug-ins with FB to accomplish the same thing. They're also performing the same exact function, fishing with an empty profile right?

Also, for anyone on PvP servers, you might have issues pathing back to your fishing spot after a gank which leads to very bot-like behavior. Put this code in the while loop of fishing the lunkers:

<MoveTo Location="xxx, xxx, xxx" MoveType="Location" Pathing="Navigator" Entry="0" />
</If>

This will path you back to your spot after the gank and continue fishing!

 

Thanks for getting back on the AutoAngler... I switched it back on the zip files as well as added in the MoveTo while fishing.

I was using it with FB perfectly well - The issue we're going to encounter is that, as far as I can see anyway, you cannot download AA from anywhere - the page has been replaced by FB.

Can we not just have the option whether we run FB or AA? ie upload both?

 

For alliance :
The bot goes to first fishing spot, catches the first lunker and after the pool depletes he gets stuck (1 [PB + FB] Blind Lake Lunker Fishing.xml). Same for the 2nd profile ...after the fishing pool depletes, he just waits there (2 [PB + FB] Jawless Skulker Lunker Fishing.xml) 1.74 version - alliance side.

I'm selecting proffesion buddy (wihout any settings modifications) + loading the first profile from my garrison and using the water walking mount / water walkin on toon.
Do i need to select any special settings in Proffesion buddy or autoangler ? If so please state on your first post.
