I understand that it is this quest from scratch? on my character in 54/86 quests in Hellfire Peninsula, he tries to take the initial quest and just standing still.

 

Your first post "Installation instructions" needs to be fixed.......

1) Download the .zip file above.
2) Drag and drop the contents of the .zip directly into the plugins folder. Don't extract, don't copy old copies.

There are no zip files, just a straight download from the buddy store correct?

 

Do you have plans for new updates for Loremaster or are you primarily focusing on the Compendium product you offer? I understand both of these are MASSIVE projects and are very time intensive.

As I expand the questing in my compendium, it adds to this project. I know I haven't added much lately here, but I do have new areas done up, and just require some testing to assure they can be completed at max level (some quests are not doable at 100, which sucks)

 

Yea I found myself having to get real creative going through Azeroth Loremaster. Had to get rez sickness and strip all gear for certain quests.

I was just curious because I'm going to be picking up your paid product soon and I think I'm going to start with the full Compendium. I'm on the 2 day trial and it's pretty cool so far.

I have a question. For me running this as lvl 100 (Im doing it for the loremaster achievement) it doesnt seem to do a good job in Ashara (the zone it starts questing in Kalimdor). I have to babysit every quest, mostly because it will try mounting and just fly around in the area. While im mounted it will not use objects, kill or anything; If i manually dismount it tends to do most of the quests, but there is no option to cancel mounting? I have tried every setting with mount setting (max distance etc.) but nothing seems to help. It doesnt seem to be a quest specific matter. It does it with nearly all quests. I have disabled all plugins etc, and running standard Singular CR. Is this due to some new update in HB that requires you to change something?

Also, do I need to turn on/off "killing in between hotspots"?

 

From what I've heard (rumor speculation, some words from on high, from testing) is that when dealing with some grey quests, Questing will actually ignore grey mobs while mounted. Since it would be severely counter productive to walk everywhere, and very cumbersome to program the profile to manually dismount at ever location of every mob, this may need to escalate to an HB bug. However, I will still need to see the log file. As always.

And it is recommended you keep KillBetweenHotspots off.

 

So I have the same issues most of the time its unable to do anything it will fly where he needs to fly but not dismount to attack someone or come to a spot and not use items or fly to a spot and try to use an item while mounted.

Most of the time he's simply Not Dismounting.

 

Would definitely hep if you could provide specific quest descriptions, log files, or both. Over 2000 quests and growing it's very tough to determine which you mean.

 

It happens all the time basically any time it has to fly somewhere and dismount to kill something most of the time it won't do it unless i come and dismount manually which is what I have been doing for quite a while now. Maybe you are correct to think it's honor buddy bug. Because my character is lvl 60 and doing quests where mobs were green like winter springs and fel wood were flawless he did them 95% alone. So maybe it's connected with the fact that he doesn't want to dismount on grey mobs.

 

I had to baby sit it for probably half of Azshara. I don't have any specifics but I literally found myself constantly saying "What are you doooooing?"

 

Pretty much this exactly... I am lvl 100 trying to do these quests and it's done this for every single zone. Also, for Blasted Lands as a max lvl toon you should think about adding it so you interact with the NPC Zidormi to turn back time (since in WoD Blasted Lands has no quests) just a suggestion.

 

Awaiting either:
1) More details beyond "it doesn't work for half the quests", or
2) Enough income to repurchase a collection of 90s and retest all quests with all class combinations at max level

It cannot be completed by a lvl 100. You need to get them down to 35% health and use an item. No matter what you do with some classes, you will always do too much damage. It was possible on lvl 90, but not any longer with lvl 100. Suggest a way to skip this quest. As it cannot move past it to finish the routine to do the rest of quests on continent.
