[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

On top of Millz response, don't forget to change the hotkey's if they are not how you like them as this is where people often go wrong.... Usage of the hotkeys is KEY to getting the best results from the routine , Also if you have an on use trinket make sure it's enabled

 

Still can´t get Hotkeys working.
The most important for me is the AOE toggle.

Not to mention make sure you load the auras list. a lot won't work if it's not reading the list of aura ids

 

PTR just went up for WoW, and PTR patch notes. Demonolgy just got gutted, and nerfed into the ground. Affliction got some buffs! Time to start figuring out the new rotations!

Funny this would happen, right after I paid for this profile. hehe!

Item - Warlock T18 Affliction 2P Bonus (New) Damage done by your Drain Soul has a 30% chance to extend the duration of your Dark Soul: Misery by 5 sec.
Item - Warlock T18 Affliction 4P Bonus (New) While Dark Soul Misery is active, your Drain Soul damage also refreshes the duration of your Haunt effect on the target.

With enough haste and Dark Soul gives you plenty of haste you could end up having "endless Darksoul + Haunt" and that is insane damage boost
For single - dual target Affliction will surely be the king with tier bonus. Luckily we don't have to adjust any of demonic's afflicion profile for this it should perform nicely. Only thing we would need to make sure is before popping Darksoul to cast Haunt so we have it on our target and then we focus on it so no multidotting while darksoul is up. Perhaps if we have enough shards we can add to SB:SS refresh dots during Darksoul so we can channel more and prolong DS + Haunt.

 

Can anyone comment on how this CR performs in arena? I'm interested in using it for affliction 2s, but trying to decide between this and Gladiator Suite. I really enjoyed Millz shadow priest CR, however, so I'm hoping I can use this one.

Any suggestions or profiles?

Testing on the servers and this is what is coming for us locks. Shit, they might as well just give our money back and delete the class.

General

Corruption now deals 12% more damage.
Dark Soul should now have its cooldown reset at the end of a raid encounter for all Warlock specializations.
Shadow Bolt now deals 25% less damage.

Affliction

Agony now deals 12% more damage.
Unstable Affliction now deals 12% more damage.

Demonology

Mastery: Master Demonologist has decreased in effectiveness by 4%.
Chaos Wave now deals 25% less damage.
Doom now deals 25% less damage.
Hand of Gul’dan now deals 25% less damage.
Soul Fire now deals 25% less damage.
Touch of Chaos now deals 25% less damage.

----- I am demon spec and wow, any lower and i might as well just carry a fking feather to hit with.

to bad as a ilvl 667 i still only get 13-22k dps in Blackrock for any boss running this cool CR and I like Millz's work.

 

Millz - would it be easy to add some functionality to the "burst hotkey?" it seems limited to just the specific abilities selected for "use with hotkey," but specifically for Demo, there are plenty of times you can and need to medium burst without CD's just by dumping resources (fury and MC procs). There are a fair number of PVE mechanics that won't always line up with major CD's and if there were an option to "dump resources for X seconds after burst hotkey enabled," it would be universally useful for a long, long time for this CR. Plenty of PVE and especially PVP circumstances could use this as there is a pretty high chance in any given arena match, you WON'T get the kill during a major CD because most decent teams can counter with defensives, kite, etc. when they see a huge demon blowing everything they have together. A good portion of matches are won blowing your offensives to force trinkets and defensives, then landing kills outside the heavy CD periods.

It's not hard to manually do by just setting fury and MC limits high and manually spamming meta + SF or TOC to override the CR when you need it, but having it automated would be a very nice touch. At any given time we could have several seconds of on demand semi-burst at the touch of a button when DS/pots/other major triggers are not available (I know you can have it resource dump with these through Aura list, but there's still utility outside of the CD periods to resource dump on demand).

So I was curious if there was any need, or ways to quickly optimize this routine for different types of PvE? Questing, Dungeon, Raid, etc? For the different raids, there are Nilrem's profiles which I think most would agree are pretty awesome. But example... I'm questing while leveling up, and a dungeon queue pops. Would be nice to have an easy way to change into dungeon mode, which might change some of the ways the routine works in fights, and certainly could change pets? Dungeon vs Raid would further change abilities, as mobs aren't lasting as long in a 5 man dungeon, of course. Then of course, PvP, and those settings all change again.

Other routines have this, and for someone that's just starting out and coming back to the game, it's really helpful. I guess in the end, creating these settings, and saving each one would be possible, but was hoping for something easier.
