19 euros is common in the HB store, which is really worth it, try using a 5 euro one compared to a 19 euro one and you'll see a big difference.
I have a full set of CRs for Honorbuddy that is covered by password with the owner of the website. Every time I use that CR, it checks with his website to see if it is properly updated and if I have paid for it.
In several cases yes, but in a lot of others no. It all depends on what you expect from your CR. If you wanna get high up in arena them I'm sure any of the Gladiator Suites (never tried them as I don't pvp) or any other specialised pvp CR will outperform Singular, if you wanna do anything else however then Singular or the free Tuanha is probably a better bet. Xcesius' YRB2 does a really good job for raiding as an all in one, so does Oracle2 for healing specs and they only cost about the same as some single spec CRs. This is also where quality control comes in, are they offering anything more then Singular does and should those CRs even be on the store? Now I'm far from an expert when it comes to ffxiv and I don't even have a level 50 DoW/DoM class yet so this is definitly a question and not a statement. Don't all in ones make more sense with the multiclass and cross-class skills? Maybe split in AiO DoW and AiO DoM CR?
Speaking as a potential customer, I absolutely agree with the idea of a store for premium plugins. The finer details of its implementation and how quality control is handled would be tricky. Neverdyne's plugins are obviously worth the fee as have been most of the combat routines while they were maintained, but if there's a 4 line plugin of what basically equates to a poor AHK tool, people are going to get annoyed at being charged £30 for it. Profiles would be tricky too, I mean I can write them myself for the most part and would value that work at £0 because I've learnt from others and the API is why it works, I've merely written some very basic instructions for it, but I can see a situation in which the market is flooded by basic grind profiles which some people would undoubtedly pay for because profiles suddenly stop being shared freely and new users lose the opportunity to learn from how others have done it. On the other hand, you can't just lock profiles out completely because there's things like Kag's 1-50 questing profile (which must have taken a ludicrous amount of time and hard work) that is absolutely worth a fee. A store feedback and a rating system seems like the obvious way to keep things in order. The good stuff receives praise and rises to the top, the bad stuff tanks. But anyway, however it's implemented (if it is at all), RebornBuddy would benefit greatly from more devs and devs deserve to be rewarded for their efforts. I think it's that simple personally.
The amount of work needed for a solid rotation on FFXIV can be much harder then WoW, in WoW, you don't even need to bot your rotation, just roll your face accross 1-= and you'll do pretty damn well. Do that in FFXIV and you'll go no where. All-In-Ones are meh, and I would rather have class specific since every class is very diffrenet then the other, even with these All in Ones, you can always find the class that is the best out of the entire thing.
I like FFXIV and I like not having to do the rotation and raiding With that said it would probably better if I just made my own CR....Could anyone point me in the right direction to get this started?
Didn't everyone do that before the store though? Even Mastahg? I thought the only thing that wasn't allowed was to promote / link them from here.

It is against the rules to advertise on the forums for anything you are selling, even if you are selling it on the Buddy Store. I know people are going to just start moving those conversations elsewhere because of it. For example, I am going to be writing an End-Game Raiding CR for WHM. I plan on using a DLL loader to run my CR. Because uploading a DLL is a quick way to get yourself banned, I will be forced to offer it somewhere else. Also, before the question gets asked, I will be using a DLL loader so that I can write my UI in WPF instead of doing either the lazy mans UI(property grid), or dealing with the mess of WinForms. WPF is awesome(data binding FTW)
How does making it a different DLL make it easier? Can't you just create an Applicaiton object, load the static resources, then go to town? And if you can't - how come the external DLL lets you do that better? Your plugin/botbase/routine are already compiled first then brought in, so I'm not sure I follow the advantage still. Edit: I ask because I want to make a UI in WPF for my next project on this thing, and I'd like to hear anything that will make it easier for me to do that.
I would love to talk to you about the WPF UI, but I don't want to get this thread any more off-topic. Check out https://www.thebuddyforum.com/rebornbuddy-forum/community-developer-forum/211508-community-developer-skype-chat.html We'd love to have another person in the chat.
You should edit OP to this ^. I'll bring forth an argument. These developers left before. Lets say they come back in hopes that the buddy store gets them compensation. What's stopping them from leaving and completely dropping support once again? thus putting the few users that have donated (or paid via a store) in a bind, do they get a refund? is there any way for users to chase that dev? If looking for payment, the quality of will have to be superb and the maintenance with no compromise. As is with the attitude where devs are seeing requests, suggestions and bug splats as "demands" the store isn't going to get very far. Am i against a store? no. It just needs to be implemented with user/buyer protection. The only way i see a store for profiles/plugins/routines working is if all content comes from a dedicated hired hand from the buddy team, all acquired funds would go to said buddy team. I can already think of a few devs that would fit into that position perfectly If not the, the dev is free to run away at a whim with a roll of cash when the next best thing comes along.
Much rather all resources go into fixing the bot before we worry about getting a RB store. Scripts don't mean anything when your bot is "Max Sessions" and "Session Expired" 20-30% of the time.
You have to be accepted as community developer before you can post onto the store. Once you're a community developer, you have to apply for store access; during that process you're sent a contract by mail, which you sign and mail back to Bossland. The contract states (if I remember correctly) that you must support your product for 18 months or until a new expansion is released for the game. Here is more info. BosslandGmbH:Getting Started with the Buddy Store (as a Developer) - The Buddy Wiki Also, there is a refund period automatically granted to buyers; the developers have no control over that.
I would GLADLY pay for some QUALITY, FREQUENTLY updated plugins/profiles. So much potential. Everything is working fine for me right now. However with the community so scarce. It makes me wonder how long the bot will be down come expansion before things are in working order again. Or if any new profiles will even be released for the expansion
I never have this issue. As far as the max sessions go. Thats probably because your bot crashed. Just go to buddyauth and end the current session. And restart the bot. I just came back to the game and have been using the bot for a week now strait with zero crashes. So i cant complain.
