I disagree that you'd get banned for running straight there. High-level human players (racers etc) often recognise map layouts and run straight to the quest item/exit - especially with maps like Docks and Battleground, but potentially with others like Western Forest too. The bot would likely be more efficient if it ran through quest areas as fast as possible and stopped to level in good farming areas (ledge, fellshrine, city of sarn, docks). Sounds like the new version will have that anyway, looking forward to the release! e: Unless you or someone else has already been banned for it, but even then I'd imagine it's just botting and bad luck rather than a result of the map layout method.
Hey Infinite Monkeys, You have a point, but not every new account means a pro/racer will be behind the wheel. I think It can be safe to assume that 10% or less will be pros making new accounts, the rest 90% will be noobs. But yea tinfoil hat.
Right, but it's enough of a possibility that they can't really ban someone just for running straight to area transitions/quest items. Fair enough though, best to be safe if you really don't want to be banned.
I understand that but for example if you are making the bot running to the first tileset on that picture it will most likely walk on the road, which is exactly what human players will do, the second party is just following the ground stones and it will lead into the wall tree. Even if it is not a straight line into it but the bot does it, it will still be slower than a human good player because of how bot handles fighting and stuff, therefore I don't actually think it would be something that would alert them. If you are afraid of advanced detection, who fully clears The Coast, Old Roads, Crossroads, Broken Bridge, Mud Flats, and other similar big zones? The bot does. Unless there is a way to recognize a "road", and just follow the road and not full clearing zones.
Hey All, As Far As I can see, they don't ban for just one thing. Data or flags gets collected and after a certain amount, it's either automatic or a manual check for ban.

still crashed.. do you know something else? i see i get this error [HandleGlyphWall] AddAtFront Success. [HandleMerveilArea] AddAfter ExploreTask failed.
Fixed. I'm not a coder so I don't recognize basic errors however all i had to do was change speedsettings to ExampleRoutineSettings You need to register and have one post to see spoilers!
Whoops, my fault, I duplicated and renamed the routine so that I could use the normal behaviour for maps. Glad you got it working!
Since you're here I may as well ask this Instead of making a new thread. Is there an easy way to make this plugin to only kill 50% of the monsters in an area before moving on and not a % more or less? Thanks.
Hello, Why do I get this error pretty much every minute while running ? Not that I can think of. The problem is that the bot only knows about enemies once they come within a certain range, so there's no way of knowing how many enemies are in an area until it's clear. If you use the standard ExampleRoutine, the bot will kill things until it finds a quest target or area change which might be useful. Had a look and I can't think of much that would cause this. It's an issue with loading the class image shown in the quest plugin settings menu, so as long as the bot is running fine it shouldn't be much of a problem. All I can think of is maybe try running the program as an administrator? It might not have permission to access the image or something weird like that.
Thanks. I'll just have two routines in that case. One is stock while the other is the speed version. This is to darkblue: Do you plan to update this after 1.4 with the overhaul to the bot? I never pay for plugins for bots however this is an exception. I am willing to donate/pay if it gives some extra motivation to improve upon this plugin.
I wish we had the buddystore for eb some plugins are really worth mony. I guess he's still working on it
