Account Closure - Association to Exploitative Accounts

Recently lost my main account with 6 hand leveled 80s and 2 hand leveled 85s. Before a flame fest happens I never botted on this account, never sold gold, never even linked myself in anyway to the leveling account.

1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Main account nothing. 2nd account Honorbuddy

2)If so, when was the last time?: Night before last

3)What profile were you using?: Kicks 56-68 A

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Default - Paladin

5)What plugins are you using?: Autoequip & Refreshmentsomething

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: Usually about 8, however I had about a week off it recently.

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: maybe 10-30

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? Nope

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? Nope

10)EU or US realm? US

I haven't seen that reason given before. I guess we now know for sure that they are linking accounts in some way, maybe not by the Bnet account but through in-game trade/mail/gbank/etc.

so your main acc got banned and you never botted with it? did you use your main and 2nd account on the same machine?

 

I mean I may have botted but it was hell over a year ago, but yes, both on the same machine.

Was the bot account closed as well?

If yes then they linked your two accounts somehow, whether that be via the trading of items or gold or some other method.

If no then I suggest you call them up and have a rant and see if you can get the ban removed.

 

Yep, bot got banned aswell.. I am considering contacting them about it, I mean I have nothing to lose really, however, I am drawing a blank as to what to say.

 

hm... im a litte scared now... never heard that they ban both accs...

 

this is what happened when I lost all of my accounts earlier this year. Basically I was gold selling from 1 acct and botting from a bunch, but nothing from my main at all. then 1 acct went offline and the others cascaded with it.

I never got any of them back, which is stupid.

Just call them up and be like BS I only have 1 account I have know idea what your talking about, they'll unban it

hmm, damm. I sendt money from my bot to the main through guild bank.... Really dont hope they ban mains now

 

I had a character on my main account in my bot bankers guild aswell. When they banned my bot account my main account got a 72hour supend aswell.

But i made about 700k and recieved a 72hour im well satisfied

 

over how long time? and how much money do you move? and how many items do you take from guild bank with your main acc?

 

I allways keep my "Exploitive Activity" as far away from my main account as possible..

Everything has a seperate account.. Example: Farmer(85) linked to its own guild for storing gold + Mats farmed, Bank char also linked to the guild on a vanilla account. IF i do decide to trade gold to my main i will face2face small amounts over a period of time. I have another char also linked to the guild that is currently my backup char if my farmer gets banned that has no gametime atm so fingures crossed if i get banned on my bank char + farming char my inactive char will still have access to the gold. I did the same thing as the guys above had my botting guild linked to a level 1 on my main account that was posting auctions etc but after reading on the forums that my main account could get banned for giving my chars a "Rich lifestyle" just wasnt worth it and things had to change as i reccomend for you guys above.

I Steal the neighbours wifi for my botting account ;-) i dont use the same ip atleast then i have something to use if they decide to ban me.

 

I allways use differned WOW Folders that way only the Account in that specifed folder is lost.

I have Bans who cant be related to IPs but to WOW Folders.

If you check WoWs own bug report, you will see that it has a section detailing every account that has ever logged in that particular wow folder. And even if you dont send the bug report, it freaks me out that it even has that info...

So Separate PCs, IPS and the usual bogus bnet info.

 

Would having two separate folders of WoW help?

 

I thought if more than one is running at the same time they could link it either way.
