That's the problem then. RebornBuddy used to always move itself until it had a target, so Ultima is only coded to control movement after we have a target. Working on a fix now.
New version. Fixed the movement issue (I think, let me know if you notice any odd behavior with movement) and thanks to Wheredidigo it's now much easier to select Ultima on the CR selection screen.
Same ETA as it has always been....."Soon". Seriously people, be happy with what you currently have for FREE. Every time Endus has to come here and re-state that he's working on cross-class skills is time he's not actually developing on Ultima. My words of advice are to stop asking questions that he can't possibly answer and keep the posting in this thread to bug reports with logs attached.
New version. Fixed a targeting error that was giving Null Exceptions (I hope it hasn't been doing that for too long lol). Still not sure. I don't want to give an ETA because that will only result in disappointment (I have no control over my schedule right now so I just work on Ultima when I can). I'm doing my best though, so as soon as I can get to it I definitely will. BTW if anyone ever wants to take a stab at improving Ultima's code (skill rotations, healing/tanking logic, etc.) feel free to pitch in. I've had a few people ask me in the past and there's simply no need, I'll always gladly accept. I always intended Ultima to eventually turn into a community project (which is why I tried my hardest to keep the base code as simple as possible). I'll want to vet the code first (test it and make sure it is quality/doesn't break stuff) but I'll never turn down a helping hand.
I'm having issue where I run up to a Fate and my character will just stand there doing nothing, not targeting anything or getting off mount unless I dismount manually. I am updated to the latest version from SVN as well.
So there still seems to be no solution to those asking about the chocobo summoning problem, and I am still experiencing the same issue. Someone mentioned earlier to try messing with settings in kupo then deleting it and I tried that but it didn't work. I have actually deleted and re-downloaded all of RB and the profiles I use, including ultima, thinking maybe a global settings wipe would solve it, and I still am experiencing the issue. Kupo summons the chocobo just fine, but not ultima. Would love to get this figured out.
What Fate? I tested my fix on dwight's "What Gored Before" and it worked. If you can find a fate that the CR consistently fails to engage I can troubleshoot it. I've tried testing for the issue but it always summons no problem for me. Maybe it's a latency issue? I might have an idea though. When is it failing to summon? Pre-combat? In-combat? Both? What Botbase are you using? Fatebot? Combat Assist?
It happens mostly on Big Boss FATEs; It's Not Lupus (Costa) - The Eyes Have It (Coerthas) - Svara's Fall/Fury (Coerthas) & Gavial (Coerthas). I haven't tried yet with the new update, but those were the ones that didn't engage unless the target was moved closer towards you. EDIT: Targetting seems to be fixed now! However there seems to be a new problem now when doing FATEs, when you actually target the mob, but you don't automatically dismount your chocobo. So you just stand there unless you manually click dismount.
I have been having the exact same issues after updating. It's not 100% of the time and it's not just doing it with fates though, it has the same issue with Patrol when targetting non fate mobs. Tried disabling that but to no avail. EDIT: Just had it happen on the fate "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Trap" and "The Red Baron" in Northern Thanalan but I'm fairly sure it's not Fate related as it has been doing it on random grinds as well.
How do you want to handle branching/code review? I'm a fairly experienced game developer (I look at Unity C# code for a good part of my day) and was thinking about making a combat routine, but there's no real reason to reinvent the wheel. Thought I'd start with something simple like tweaking Dragoon DPS rotations before trying to jump into healing/tanking logic.

New version. Looks like Mastahg's change also affected mount behavior. Let me know if the issue is finally resolved. Just let me know what you're wanting to work on (to make sure I'm not already working on it), edit the Ultima files as wanted, give me a brief summary of what was changed, and if it's actually an improvement (doesn't lower DPS, doesn't break stuff, etc.) I'll throw it in with credit to whoever submitted it (like I already have with Wheredidigo and Ichiba in my posts/patch notes). If you're going to be editing DPS profiles, just make sure to test the current Ultima profile with ACT on a training dummy and then test it with your new version (to make sure it's actually a DPS improvement over a few minutes). Also, if you're wanting to start developing for RB, hop on the Skype chat group (let me know your Skype and I'll invite you).

I don't know what all you changed in this update but the chocobo thing is fixed and my summoner's DPS went up by about 20 so I'm extremely satisfied.
My chocobo in Costa Del So is mounting, running 2 steps, dismounting, mounting again and repeating this nonstop. Only happening on Ultima, Kupo works fine.
Just wondering if since you did two revisions recently anything needs to be reverted since you said Mastahg's RB update yesterday likely fixed it. Just want to make sure your fix won't cause unwanted problems with Ultima, because it was working flawlessly for me before an RB update broke it initially. Its working fine for me on the new update so far, just want to make sure it works as well as it used to. Even on What Gored Before which was the only problem fate I had where it was a nudge off (making me bump it forward to target/attack, else it would just stand there and skip the fate) works fine now where it navs, targets/attacks fine. At any rate thanks for your amazing work, I love ultima, esp blm rotation....really didn't want to get stuck w kupo due to one fate issue.
