Its scary when BossLand says "Honorbuddy had not a single software detection. It seems there is one now" Which means blizzard knows how the program works with WoW, that means its going to take a very long time to fix it also the risk in botting has just increased by a shitton if blizzard knows how HB works. If you botted in glider days glider got destoryed once it was detected.
Because 7mil subs followed by a guild-breaking ban wave merely one week later. Hope their second quarter looks like absolute shit for WoW subs.
This might be the end because at this point, no one else is buying honorbuddy. If the developers don't play WoW there is no motivation to constantly one-up Blizzard.
I was really pissed at first... But secretly, deep inside, I have been hoping that WoW just dies soon. Lost a 10-year account today, to just a 6 month ban. But in all honestly, I won't play anymore because the only reason I play at all is because HB made the incredibly boring grind bearable. I used it for fishing and a bit of gathering for personal use. Never used it for any kind of major advantage or gold making. But botting is botting in the eyes of Blizz I guess. Time to go outside I guess.
this isnt the end of honorbuddy, in fact i can assure you they'll be turning off the tripwire real soon. you may have noticed the HB sales are working just fine, even right now. However unless they can figure out the detection method, which I seriously doubt, it's definitely the end of any accounts dumb enough to use HB. blizzard will just continue with these banwaves every couple of months.
Which isn't even a big deal because HB can use unlimted wow trial accounts to see if they bypass the tripwire. do you know how many counter-strike cd keys I had banned back in the day? I would guess over 50.
