Hey guys, Should we be worried about a second banwave? I botted LFR for an hour on may 9th, before that i cant remember last i did. Never got banned before, am i going to get banned on 2nd wave? They've certainly scared me into stopping
Hehe, i'm not going to, but i worry that i'm gonna get caught in the second wave even though i haven't botted since before the last wave.
You could have answered this yourself. I mean, look around. This is the biggest banwave since Glider (correct me if I'm wrong). So if you are worried about your account, THIS is definitely NOT the time to go on using HB. My last HB use was on April 24th and I still got banned.
Wasn't asking if it was safe to bot,(understandably it isn't), but if i needed to worry about a second wave if i hadn't botted since before the last one.
The answer is simply that nobody knows. Hope for the best, but be prepared to face the consequences of botting.
I've created an account just to reply to this topic. The thing is that i've just started playing on blizz 9 days ago. I've used hb for something like 20 minutes just to see what it does. After that, never used it. Yesterday, my account got banned. So, you should be aware of a 2nd ban wave.
there wont be a wave anymore for me i stop botting til this is over im playing self lvling dk and start playing on him i can play dps fine by my self

then why are you still talking about it. it sucks you got banned. but you getting banned does not mean another wave is coming. it may, or it may not. honestly, every single person here should have been aware every single moment that a banwave was coming. why on earth would anyone think it would last forever. if you did indeed start botting 9 days ago and only ran honorbuddy 20 minutes and got banned, id be much surprised. but lets say you did. if you learn one thing from this experience, do a little research before jumping in on a program like honorbuddy. we are outlaws going up against Big Business. Destruction is always right around the corner.
Second banwave? The first isn't even over yet. Look at the ban forums. New posts still coming in every few minutes. Round the clock. Sbt
new posts coming in could be report based, or those players might have just logged in to find their accounts banned. it would be foolish to make assumptions based on what a couple people are doing.
The general trend from blizz perspective has been to roll out bans over time with the exception of major Banwaves which are designed to deter botters by putting the fear of god into them. So i wouldnt be surprised to see bans rolling in for weeks to come
